Juan Wilson (Was a Warren WR) ejected from the vehicle in a car crash that killed Jaylon Connish, who was also ejected from the vehicle (Warren Safety) in March of 2022. Juan is currently recovering from brain and spinal cord injuries. Both players were senior's and were set to continue playing at Western New Mexico University.

What's the difference between divisions 1-3? Not sure how the teams from each league go to the playoffs

Mixture of size and strength of the team (Div 1 obvs MD, SJB, CorCen10 / Div 2 Poly, Serra, Servite, MV...then it drops off with Div 3 Warren, Cham, St. Bon and then Div 4 Downey, CdM, La Serna). Top 4 Divs tend to be the best, then 5-14 are the rest. Competition is too fierce in Div 1 that not many teams are put in that bracket for playoffs.

@@jellybegger I know a few people who work for Maxpreps and it’s pretty much school size and how you done the last couple years they barely put into account schedules unless your d1-2

That officiating crew almost blew it for Warren. They were straight trash 🗑️

Yes, they were. Warren had so many obvious holds in front of the refs. I'm not saying Oak didn't get away with a few, but they favored warren. They held up the game for a few minutes because they didn't know where to spot the ball on a penalty, which killed Oaks momentum. That's just to name a few. Even the last 2pt was iffy. It looked like they gave them the benefit of the doubt and called it good. All in all, it was an exciting battle of a game. Oak had a good loss. Good luck to warren in the championship.

It went both ways but ultimately it came down to playmakers making plays from both teams. From the Oak Hills safety turning the game around with a Pick 6 to the Warren QB miraculously picking up a bad snap, while it was rolling around, from the ground and throwing up a hail-mary with the Warren WR pulling it in. If anything, the holding penalty moving the ball closer after the final TD didn't make sense as it occurred during the play. Makes it a lot easier going for two at that point but the O-Line were the heroes at the end
