Karnataka is very beautiful and very underrated. Foreigners go to usual Goa, Delhi and Rajasthan (and some go to Kerala), but they miss out on something very important i.e Karnataka! Karnataka has the highest Tiger population (along with MP now), historically it was no.1 in tiger population, even in elephant population it is no.1. karnataka is a Bio-diversity hotspot account for 60% of Western Ghats. Not just in terms of wildlife, but even in beautiful landscapes, cultures, languages and the cuisines 😍, Karnataka is one of the best in the world. Karnataka has got beaches (maravanthe, malpe, etc), go lush green forests, wild-life, best transport infrastructure (KSRTC) in India. Karnataka is also very diverse, it is truly one state, many worlds! The primary language spoken by vast majority is Kannada, which is very old and rich language. Tulu-Kodava are also native to this state, Konkani speakers migrated here long ago (during Portuguese colonial rule), and they have become a part of our state. The dialects of Kannada also vary. Also this region was called Karnata - pleasing to the ears, because of the language spoken here (there are also other explanations). Karnataka's cultures right from Karavali (coastal) region to southern inland and nothern inland are very interesting and their beauty is beyond words. Yakshagāna, dollu Kunitha, kathi varase, Kambala and many more are local traditions. The state also has a great history. We have got everything from Beaches to forests to wildlife to huge cities, cultures, tasty cuisines, rich history and old languages that please the ears. It is very underrated, once you visit you will return! ಜೈ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ, ಜೈ ಭುವನೇಶ್ವರಿ. (Jai karnataka).

Don't u know that's why Northeast India, and district of extreme Northern states like Gulmerg, Kullu Manali, Sikkim, Eastern states, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, etc. Are still holding its mesmerizing Natural beauty, if tourists gonna invade on these places then their untouched mesmerizing Natural beauty gonna ruined too.

@@saishnatekar683 Gokarna is in Karnataka (isn't it?). Also aren't tourists the major source of income for Goa? boom in tourism is both boon and a curse. There should be controlled tourism which ensured nature is not affected (some regulations like no plastic bags allowed, deforestation not allowed for the sake of resorts or any other sort of recreation of that sort, etc these should be enforced)

@@internetuser9279 He was a software engineer before then joined discovery channel and started exploring wildlife of other countries.But he knew karnataka had very vast wildlife so he thought why not make a documentary of his birth place.Im sure its not as easy as you think they have taken 4 years to shoot this 1 hr video and the video required a storage of 60TB.

You will be surprised to see the different places , it's like a 1000 different world in different Districts.. Those were the best days of my life.... I still visit different places every six month..

South & North East India are still the pristine parts of the sub-continent. Reasons: 1. Treacherous jungles and rivers. 2. Less exposed to the invaders ( unlike North Western Frontier - Invasions from Persia etc) 3. Sense of belonging, attachment to the land, water and all the resources - probably due to their distinct culture and high literacy rate.

Just 7 hours back I watched the trailer of wild karnataka but nevertheless watched it again here jus coz I am from karnataka, I jus love my place n I love Jk reactions... next time do come to karnataka.. the tag line of karnataka tourism is "one state many worlds"

When you reach the top you'll definitely find the mist in rainy season while reaching the top you could not find either there is a a way or not...there are some places like kodachadri, Dattatrya peeta, Mullayanagiri, Yana especially in hilly area and ghat section in Karnataka...
