A good supply of protein will do that, now that she feeds them mealworms they live longer. All the tarantula youtube channels I've watched have said their T's lived longer since feeding them mealworms.

Well they can live up to 10 years but this is not likely in the wild

This was a beautiful tribute to Wally. Between her and Chucky, two special little chipmunks, that you befriended and to whom they trusted and let you and Tom, touch and caress! Thank you for filming Wally's life at your gardens for them to live out their little lives.

I had a feeling she was gone.. She was my favourite.. 😢she had a long comfortable life, i hope she's happier now.

this youtube site is awesome! the only way it could be better is if there was way to get to get a status video maybe on june 1st or july 1st on which chipmunk friends made it back from winter sleep this year. maybe top 10 or top 15

It must be so hard wondering if your older chipmunk friends will wake up in the spring. Your relationship with Wally and Chucky was so sweet and special. Knowing how short their life span is must make them more precious. I'm sad to lose another beautiful little friend. 😢

I was there when Chucky did not return, and now, for Wally. When Wally was digging tunnels in Chu Chu's front garden last year, moving from her lake home , she must have known. She wanted to be closer to Tom and Chu Chu.😢

I am so sorry for your loss…your video has me weeping because I have experienced a similar pain - I adored a sweet little chipmunk I named Clementine, and it was so hard when she passed away. She came to see me one last time before she passed - and I could tell she was not well and was saying goodbye. I feel for your pain and loss…my sympathy to you❤

I've loved Wally since I first saw her, she had personality plus, plus. She created wonderful babies and always brought them to meet ChooChoo. The cutest thing she did though was to get into ChooChoo's pocket for seeds, stick her little head out, then dive back in for more seeds. She sure spent a lot of time with Tom and ChooChoo, for the love. Oh, Bless you both. You gave her a long life.

I guess this is because Wally did not come back from winter sleep? This is sad news. First Chucky, now Wally. Thank you for telling us. We loved Wally of the Lake also. So friendly. It seems she lived twice her normal life span, no doubt due to the good food and protection. Love from California to you both and all the chippies. All Creatures Great and Small, the Lord God Made Them All.

예전에 설악산 근처 등산을 하고, 계곡에서 밥 먹는데... 어떤 다람쥐놈이 내 발가락으로 와서 입을 크게 왕! 벌림. 발가락 살짝 꼼지락거렸더니, 저 멀리 도망... 와... 너무 귀엽고. 나는 사실, 다람쥐한테 물려본 적도 있음. 무는거 얼마나 귀엽게요? 부럽죠? 물려본거 평생 자랑입니다!

the music put several lumps in my throat, and made my eyes tear up. part of me wants to live in fresh green nature too, and yet still I love and appreciate my modern comforts. it just feels so good, to feel a part of Gods eternal nature. I know that when you go and if your heart is full of love, then you go right to heaven. my guess is that wally and chucky probabally visit you and have a nice chat in your dreams, its seems sweet that way
