Wild Car Wednesday 1965 Toyota Stout SBC S10 chassis. Should it be LS1?

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

On this wild car Wednesday we visit a friends shop where we see a 1965 Toyota Stout. It's a nice truck but we are here to see a project stout to make ourselves a drawing. A stout with an LS you say? No, I want to do an ecotec 2.0 liter for some power and fuel mileage. We work on the 55 Gasser wagon for the upcoming No Name Nationals. We alter the engine plates for the 1955 supercharged wagon. We move the rear end back to its original location. Ben's truck gets some work done by replacing the front clip. Super cool 67 C10 is LS swapped, patina, lowered and getting close to being done. We are building a blown or supercharged 1955 Chevrolet Gasser Wagon to run at the "No Name Nationals". We have made a trade for a supercharged 355 cubic inch small block with angle plug aluminum heads. We are still thinking about doing the altered wheel base instead of the standard 55 Gasser. This past week we had so many things to be done on the 1967 C10 giveaway truck. In this video we will be installing disc brakes, fixing the rear drum brakes, swapping the rear end and installing the LS and automatic transmission, We are giving away a 1967 C10 0n April 1st. Time is running short so we are putting in extra time on this giveaway 1967 C10 patina lowered truck. Wednesday we also showed you what is possibly the worst 1969 K5 Blazer I have ever seen! We have some great plans to make this pile of junk into a really sweet ride. #nonamenationals is right around the corner and we are going. We put some pretty on the insane 1967 C10 giveaway truck. We have decided to go to the no name nationals and are looking for call outs. Bring it on! #nonamenationals. The 55 Chevy Gasser wagon would be right at home on the track. The question is should we go spend a bunch of money for just a little fun? We installed an LS in Ben's truck. Firewall gets paint and the truck moves closer to driving down the road. Wild Car Wednesday is going to be good. we have a tasty treat for your viewing pleasure. We had a great week on the 1967 Chevrolet C10 Giveaway truck. We made great progress on setting the cab and test fitting the LS engine we are going to install. Our last Wild car Wednesday has an incredible Golf Cart made from a car. We repaired the horrible electrical system on the 65 C10. The past Wild Car Wednesday is about a 1963 Kellison Astra J-5 Panther. My Father wanted this car when he was young and I unknowingly ran across one and purchased it. I am hoping to build this car and take my Dad for a ride. Should we do an LS swap or stay with the original plan of a Jaguar V12 and a 5 speed manual transmission? Too many holes! The 65 C10 LS swap lowered patina truck of Ben's is getting the firewall and floors repaired. Patch panels are finished so we can get this build moving forward. There always seems to be another hitch! Fab Rats don't seem to work like this. Problems delay the continued build of the 1967 Chevy C10 LS swapped lowered giveaway truck. We crushed the old 1969 C10 truck and get started on the new 1967 C10 truck. We take the old truck to the scrap yard and smash it. We start the 67 disassembly. The giveaway C10 has been voted on. The decision is in. We are building a couple of Chevy C10 pickup trucks, lowered, not bagged patina pickup trucks. Pole barn garage. Rear end installation. in the process we are doing some additional Odd Rod builds. Backyard budget build. We installed a Ford 9 inch rear end housing into Ben's chassis. We also add a new twist to the giveaway truck rules. Tell a friend and you are rewarded. C10's are one of the most popular vehicles on the road today. We are taking beat up old trucks and turning them into reliable daily drivers without spending a ton of cash. The DIY style of backyard builds we are doing make it easy to do in your own backyard. The next two trucks we do will have LS style engines in them. I say LS style because they are vortec engines but probably did not come out of a Camaro or Corvette thus they are LS style vortec engines that everyone calls "LS" engines. We do backyard builds and show how you can do it too. We use a lot of "eyeball engineering". We also use our "eyecrometers". If it looks wrong..... it is. Make it work right and look right. Close enough is good. Someday we will be cool like the guys at Vice grip garage. fab rats. rusty duck garage or matts off road recovery. We will have a nice shop and lots of followers, but for now we are working in the dirt. Come follow along as we turn rusted out old cars and trucks and convert them into custom running vehicles. We turn rusted out old cars and trucks and convert them into custom running vehicles. We do custom engine swaps, custom body work and even buy and sell classic cars. Being in New England, we know what happens to early Toyotas, they disappear completely because of the salt. That being said I've never seen nor heard of such a truck. Pretty cool 👍☮️

I really like your idea with that truck. I'd also love to see Crazy Robs truck with a 3 inch chop on that bad boy! His seats look sick. Too bad my old back could never tolerate that level of awesomeness.

Purdy darn cool little pee cup truck y'all got there Rob. Is it possible to road race a air bagged vehicle? Seems to me that bumps and corners would be an easy thing for it to handle. Anyway, fun toys for good ol' boys.
