“The price of the devil” hahaha this was such an entertaining and different video. Also love all the sample images

I own one , and I have taped it to prevent that it collapses on my M10M

It looks like your example has the six blade Iris from the earlier Summar lens. I believe the last ones made reverted to this type and various theories exist as to why Leitz did that.

I own this lens. I use it with my Voigtlander R3M. With Ektar 100 film, it produces jewel like color. I think the bokeh quality at f2 rivals a Lomo Petzval lens for swirly, smearing goodness. You're absolutely right about collapsing the lens. I wouldn't put this on a digital camera. That said, it's a wonderful lens that I think goes under appreciated.

Yours is like mine, the 6-bladed version. I am on the hunt of a good uncoated 10-bladed version (serial number < 601,000 something)

How did you get those panoramas? Is it just cropped in because the sides of those panos are really smeared

Yes, crop. The Lumix S1 can shoot jpegs in 65:24 xpan aspect ratio.

do you think it is safe to use on M240 when extended and never collapsed?

yeah, it takes quite a bit of effort to collapse it.
