Sigh, the wii u edition doesn't stand a chance with the original. Like if you agree. I really like the old one. Creative Knockdowns, Headspins, and awesome replays. Plus, it's smoother too. Physics were awesome back then, but today, why Nintendo, why? I'd prefer to play the original.

Headspins mean that in wii sports, original, when you knock someone down while their close to the ropes, when they land on their head, the head spins. This happens rarely.

I think that was the idea of both Matt and Pit, that they both suck at everything except boxing.

This just doesn't have the same gritty feel the original Wii Sports boxing had. The whole stadium is dark except for the ring; all focus on the two contenders. Every hit has weight behind it. All that wonderful stuff and the fact that Matt isn't out throwing hands again.

My head cannon is that Pit is Matt's student and aspires to be as famous as Matt

Ik like wheres the flashing blue and red blast and the motion blur from when you dodge a punch, and the ring letting you know your time on earth is almost up. The suspense of being on that last blinking light and still winning. Smh, not even close to the original

@Scarlett Hernandez This isn’t simply changed, it’s practically neutered. The motion controls are worse despite requiring 2 wiimotes both with motionplus in order to play with ONE player, the sound design is less satisfying, it’s slower paced, and it’s just overall less fun. If

HARDEST disagree ever. This is stiff, lifeless, slow and practically worse in every way possible aside from the new shoes and the HD output (not graphics, this looks flat). I still play the og to this day, and I was hoping for a remaster, but when this came out it’s like they went backwards. You couldn’t have played both, and are just going off graphics alone.

In my opinion, I think this version of boxing is slower, and shows less energy. The first game was way faster when you threw punches at the opponents. The vibrations of the remote were also more realistic, and the action was more intense. This version goes at a slower pace.

There is something odd about this. Pit is also in Mario Kart 8. The staff ghost of wario's gold mine. He might be German, according to his MK8 Profile. So he might be famous.

THE ANIMATION IS SO STIFF. I wish this game was just Wii sports, but with updated graphics. Cause this game has just better graphics, but the animation was sacrificed for it.

Sorry I don’t think you can use one wii mote for two-hand boxing, but two wii-motes is a lot more effective and there’s no short wire between. Also about the stiffness, yeah it be like that.

They are in Streetpass, and they've been used for other promo material for Nintendo. (Sorry I just love Mii stuff)

Honestly I like how much charm this new version has with the new animation before the next round before it kinda felt soulless and thank goodness you can use 2 Wii remotes I hated the stupid num-chuk it does look a bit stiffer but still this is definitely an improvement. Edit: I do miss that matt fight but in a way it kinda makes more sense that matt would eventually retire from the boxing ring he's just too damn powerful so he quit to give another person a chance.

The club version feels too slow, animations also are much more jagged, and the dual Wii remote limits the amount of accessibility to this game. You get 1 Wii mote and a free nunchuck with it, but you’ll have to pay extra for a second Wii mote if ya wanna even play this

@@OOFUS4103I would rather play extra than try to get my nunchucks to work, even in mint condition it's still hard to play boxing as the motion on the num-chuck sucks but everyone has their opinions I was just stating mine which is really just if I had the option to play either wii sports or wii sports club I would most likely play wii s[prts club do to the better motion on this game and the others..

The highest you can get is Level Star 10

If you think about it, Pit can be seen as a neo-Wii Sports Matt. The best combatant in his respective games but absolute dogshit at baseball and tennis being extremely early opponents.

Matt would've destroyed Pit with all the fast punches and slaps that Matt delivers even if you're dodging, Matt would slap that lil blonde hair off.

Matt moved on to bigger things than boxing. Yes, he's still in Wuhu Island, but he decided to quit boxing in order to make it fair for the rest of the folks in Wuhu. He now instead spectates higher levels of battle, like Smash Bros.

I personally disagree, as this remake added some things that, if added to the original, would probably be praised a lot more. The only downside to this is, well, no Matt.
