Perfect :D What do you think her backstory (no pun intended) is? I personally think that she was bullied by her peers and abused by her parents in childhood for her scoliosis, and possible physical abuse could have left her back bruised and deformed (on top of the scoliosis). (TW for next part) I also think she went through some form of sexual abuse, because she despises sex and has strong opinions of men being in charge. I absolutely adore the concept of this character, and I really hope she's in season 9. I think she has potential to do a reversal and become a better person. I think if she was truly evil, Michael would've joined alliances with her. She should have channelled her sadism and anger towards men (but more specifically, society as a whole) into being a paid dominatrix or something lol

She was about to be partnered by Michael but she kept trying to make Ms. Meed shoot him even after he said she made it in the sanctuary. She’s still alive though so hooray hehe.

I think she has a deep hatred for sex because of her scoliosis, she is too embarrassed by it,Michael did call it her shame plus it would make sense to why she banned sex in outpost 3. I think it would add a level of sympathy for her, especially if she was bullied for her scoliosis and back deformities. Since she's alive I hope we get some kind of backstory she is a very good character and its shame they didn't use her that much..

@TxV UNIVERSE Just because he said she made it into the sanctuary didn't mean anything. He said the same thing to Dinah, yet had her killed regardless. She was right not to trust him, especially considering he violated and humiliated her. A woman has a right not to trust a man who violated her and forced her to expose her body against her will. If Michael didn't want Venable to try to kill him, then he shouldn't have destroyed her trust by doing that.

ik this is an emotional comment and I agree that it would be amazing to learn more about her backstory since she seems to be such a tragic character, but as soon as I saw the word dominatrix my mind deserted every other point you made like damn

This edit is amazing! 💕 I loved this character and I wish she had more to do in the season. I was also so curious about Venable's backstory: how did she become this woman, what are her goals and motivations, what does she wish for, etc. It felt sad to see her essentially walk through life alone while the other Sarah Paulson character Cordelia was quite the opposite of that (surrounded by people who loved her, focused on helping others).

Luckily she's alive again

The taps of her cane in the beginning are so perfect it takes me OUT. I literally get chills every single time. This video is everything!! There needs to be way more videos of her. She's.. just ugh
