Kroton Hela Wigmen stunned minor premiers and favorites PRK Mendi Muruks with a 12-6 thumping on Sunday to qualify for next week's Digicel Cup Grand Final decider against Agmark Rabaul Gurias.
Wigmen's 12 points were scored in the 1st half to lead 12 nil at halftime, while Muruks 6 pointer was scored in the 2nd stanza.
This is Wigmen's 4th grand final appearance since their 2014 maiden grand final win over Gurias. The last time they won the Cup was in 2020 against the Lae Snax Tigers.
