In my experience the best way is to have a mesh with a wired back haul

Thanks for the great videos, i used your advice when tweaking my asus mesh system, I wired my roof and installed a modem and 4 nodes in the shape of a 5 on a dice (very large home) and used your advice when adjusting db changeover for 2.4 and 5ghz, worked an absolute treat, my devices swap over just the right amount now. and all my cameras stick to the closest node. I have a question. All my devices are connected to one router asus gs-ax3000 , and from the Asus router, I connected to the Huawei Mesh router on the second floor. Is this good?

Hey great video 😊 I have a Starlink but it's wifi is way too short to cover everything I need. It doesn't have a LAN port. My estimate is that I need about 3 extenders to cover everything, 2 of which should be able to connect directly to the Starlink so they will HOP only once. Do you have any recommendations of what kind of repeaters should I use?

Thanks, I don't have starlink but if I'm not wrong you can get an Ethernet (lan) adapter! If that's possible I would do that and avoid using multiple repeaters.

@@Behfor Thx for the reply. The thing was, its for my friend who rents a big place in the middle of nowhere. Since the guest arrive today I had to use 3 repeaters because there's no time to wait for the adapter. Works ok, not great, not terrible. Long term solution is to order an adapter.

Dear Sir, I have watched many of your videos. You are smart with knowledge and have style. Thank you for teaching. The antennas on 6GHz band could have higher gain (9 dBi) to improve the distance. 320 MHz channel bandwidth WiFi7, on 6GHz band will be excellent for wireless repeater with low latency. 160 MHz channel bandwidth WiFi6 and 6E, 5 and 6Ghz is good for wireless repeater. Kind regards Jose

@Behfor. AX86U Pro wired by cable Cat6 is still an exellent choice. The WiFI7 "MLO" Multi-Link Operation for wireless repeater will be better.for people who cannot install J45 cable or fiber optic cable with adaptors.(expensive).
