I had same problem. My problem resolved only when I connected the original HDMI cable provided with the MI Box. Initially when I connected my MI Box 4k with my existing HDMI cable that came with DTH set top box, it worked fine for a week. Then suddenly this error of “No internet” or sometime “wifi not available” started showing up. I tried many solutions provided here, on many other forums and on youtube nothing worked for me. Finally attaching Genuine MI Box HDMI Cable that come along worked

i used everything(vpn, lan port forwarding, static ip) but could not get 5ghz speeds to go more than 8mbps. Bro you are godsend... It took me 8 HOURS still nothing I thought I might have to either:- -use usb ethernet (and loose my usb slot) -or 2.4ghz(but it gave max of 24mbps speed as compared to 50+ mbps i am getting now) -or return the box(didnt want to becase it is better than all alternatives even Rs.6k Firestick 4k) previously i coudnt not even chromecast 1080p mp4 files from my local devices but now i can use 4k ones. I can only image how much of your time you gave for our benefit. Thank you so much...❤

Appreciate your efforts and brief on comment. But on my case I am getting a good speed of 50mbps (My internet is 50mbps) with 2.4GHz wifi. Also with given fix I could get my 50Mbps on 5GHz Wifi. Don't know about ur Box, anyway good luck for Firestick 4K. I am also user of Firestick since 3year. Now i thought lets change to Android. Thanks.

My problem is during watching movie the Box switch from 5ghz to 2,4ghz because I start to see really bad quality.... Rha i test the speed and it's 2,4 ghz because it's slow. So do you think this can solve my problem? Thanks

is there a way to change the region in settings without having to reset the entire tv, its a big pain to download all apps and start again fresh ?

Worked and solved the issue once. It came back after the restart. MI should fix their devices. They are full of bugs. Disappointing.

The voice command isn't working with prime video, hotstar and zee5 like 3rd party apps but it fine with the Netflix and KZread. Do you have any solution for this.

Hi. People faced similar issue. I request you please do a factory reset and see once. And if it's with 5GHz WIFI ISSUE.. Then I recommend you better use 2.4GHz. Mi should rollout the software patch soon..

It didn't work for me, i have change RDRegion region setting from wifi router setting and changed from CE to FCC and its started showing..

So, that's mean 5G wifi option is limited for US region only?

Hoping all connection you given properly.. I suggest recheck once.. At the end return if doesn't work..

this cant be... this mi box firmware is specially for india, optimized for india. location should be always on otherwise many app will be malfunctioned. i suggest use 2.4ghz band untill mi fix this issue. they will soon. no need to select united state or off location.

@@DrArjunKataria No, I opened up the device to check on the wifi module, it seems they chose to save a few pennies and not solder on antenna connectors with some antennas attached. Basically is has shitty reception because of poor hardware design.

Since there is no option of changing region again after first time startup, I would advise all to wait patiently for the fix update otherwise you have to reset it again to change the region back to india.

Hey Nicole, Thank you for watching my vedio. 1st I need to understand, whether you got any recent update fro Android. If not wait for that.. That update will resolve your both issue. If update done. Then it has other issues, I suggest you better reach to MI customer care.. Or exchange of products

Only by changing HDMI cable to its original then everything going well. I don't know how come, but it works on my box.

Could you please advice on the wireless settings for 2.4 and 5 ghz. . no matter what, it says connected but no internet. . But by connecting with my mobile hotspot is working fine.

Thanks! Works for me but not fully. Before choosing region to us I got speed of upto 1 mbps and after that upto 10 mbps. My broadband plan is 20 mbps but not getting it in full. Any other trick?

Did you find any solution? I'm also having the same problem. When Mi box 4 connects to internet, it gives 1mbps speed at best whereas i have an 80mbps gtpl plan. Even took the wifi router very near to Mi box 4.

@@naveenn8205 If Mi box is connecting 5Ghz Wifi network the I suggest. You should keep the Router and MI box very near (in one room). If you are connecting with 2.4Ghz then then check with Analiti App the speed quality. If you don't find any solution better replace the product. Anyway we could replace with in time. Dear Techno Samasi Please suggest that I installed mi box 4k with BSNL bod band Wi-Fi it is ok that day Second day when I open it BSNL netwoks not showing. Another wifi showing which is not mine. Yes there is flaw on bluetooth sound device. Bluetooth speaker or any device automatic reconnect nahi hota. But same thing mobile mene hojata hai. Android TV ka protocol or problem hai ye. But mene aapko ek simple Workaround de sakhta hunu. Jese ki Mi box 4K mene aap ek bluetooth speaker connect kie, tho yo bluetooth list mene dikhta hai. Next time aapko unpair karke Phir se connect karna nahi padega. Next time aap bas click on "add accessory". Yo automatic connect hojayega bluetooth device ke sath. Thanks for Asking.. Hope the solution may work..

Mi box S, depending on region wifi work. For mi box 4k in india it was not working, recently we got the android update. Now it is working. For your wifi Issue I suggest you plz do factory reset once. The device emits very high non-ionizing radiation..!.! The remote also emits radiation..!.! Is it possible to cancel the non-ionizing radiation of the device.!.! Is it possible to eliminate non-ionizing radiation from the remote control.!.! The device causes headaches when I'm in the same room..!.! And its radiation intensity is even higher than proximity to cellular antenna..!.!

See Aziz, the Mi box has the issues on 5Ghz Wifi.. The Mi box should work fine on 2.4Ghz.. For 5Ghz Issue will resolve on android update.. If get notification for Android update it will resolve the issue. Please Subscribe my channel for new update.

May b your wifi Issue.. Better check with ur mobile Hotspot once.. If that detect then there is problem with ur wifi router. If your hot-spot also doesn't detect then.. Then better do reset of MI box..

@@anshumikotdawala9187 thoptv.download/ Go to this link & download the thop tv APK file.. Store that APK file in usb ,then plug it in mibox and install the thop tv apk file in Mibox using file explorer.. that's all!

@@vinaysonu9234 yes Vinay.. In MI box there is sw issue on 5GHz WIFI. So we need do Workaround.. Plz see my next vedio for solution

@@vinaysonu9234 okay.. On my fix it is working for me even for others subscriber it is working. Don't know on ur case.. My suspect may b you make location on.. During the vedio describe procedure. I suggest check once also if now check on mi community once for another solution. Meanwhile I will check from my end and give you update.. Thanks.

1.Check with data saver option on mi box 4k 2. Make a 2.4GHz Hotspot on mobile and try. 3. At the end reset once. .

I've had this problem for a few days and I did this : 1- Opened a hotspot from my phone while it's connected to my wifi. 2- Connected my Mibox to my hotspot that I just opened. 3- Disconnected my Mibox from the hotspot and connected it back to my wifi. ^ I did this 2 times and it worked, so I thought I might share this information with everyone.

Nothing told in this Vedio worked for me. Then gave static IP to my MiBox4k ... And it works like charm
