Very bad message sorry to say.A woman should FEEL respected by her partner. The advise the parent gave was absolutely wrong. Your child didn't leave your home Sir because she didn't have anywhere else to go and as a kid even if she felt emotionally vulnerable she had to learn to taper her emotions down to survive those conditions. Now as an adult ...when her husband is coming back to her with the same negative energy she is expecting support from YOU as a parent. If that's too much to ask of a parent?...I rest my case. I'd never tell my kids not to return to me just because something went wrong in their marital homes. That's so wrong on so many levels. I BET she feels unsupported and unheard. That's why I teach my gals today to be independent. Don't be football between your parent's home and your husband's home. YES it's still your husband's home in indian culture as societally he would have the upper hand in most issues
