She put her mother in a home and immediately spiraled because all she could think about was how people might treat her in the future. So she did the logical thing and burned as many bridges as possible to ensure that happens to her.

She didn't. The money she stole and the portions of the debts OP paid for her will be deduced from her what she gets in the divorce. And now the life she was expecting to go back to is completely gone.

Story 2: While they may have been things OP didn't do, I can't really blame him some people just notice things easier than the others and his wife had every opportunity to tell him about her worries and problems. All in all probably a good thing that OP moved on, he learned from his 'mistakes' and will hopefully find someone who actually knows how to communicate, love and to be loyal.

Thats part of the trust in a relationship, that she would open up to her partner on how to make her fulfilled (he is not a mind reader), but she turned to another man and vented while her bf has no clue she was even feeling that way, she is a HUGE red flag and I'm glad he is out of there

Women on average have a higher score in a psychological measure called trait neuroticism - for every given stress, they tend to feel it more strongly than a man. It has its advantages (like getting problems solved early) but at the same time leads to situations like this were the guy legitimately thinking the situation isn't that bad while she's thinking it's terrible so why isn't he doing anything or noticing? Useful thing to know to reduce conflict before it begins.

Someone who willingly did incest is NOT a someone you should trust to analyze someone's quality. Like seriously, she cheated, didn't care about what you felt, and she'll dump the new guy in a few years. The fact she threatened to kill herself just to keep you from breaking up is not normal behavior. Reminds me of that wife who cheated, then when the husband found out and refused to buy any of her BS, she went stone cold and said "He was right about you". People like that are not sane.

She will end up broke in a van 🚐 trying to figure out if OP and her kids will want her back 😂😂😂and they better not take her back. Let her face the actions of her consequences. Story 2- OP will move on and live his best life and the EX will end up with a few untreatable STDs because she will cheats again. Plus if she told OP about her past and talk about voluntary incest on her part I would have run in the opposite direction as fast as I possibly could. Yuck 🤮 and tell all her feature partners and friends. Secret or not that's just nasty. It was voluntary that makes it NOT A SECRET

Story 2. The excuse for cheating is a lack of time and attention. The real reason is that the ex is the type of person who steps out of a relationship rather than deal with any issues. The excuse is BS, the reason for cheating is the ex is too small a person to work on things. Excuses and reasons are not the same.

She’s not mentally unstable ops wife is just selfish! Not once did she ever thank op for what he did. For what he sacrificed. Instead she took the trip that they saved up for them both to go and live the young life. This isn’t about her mental health. This is about her being a selfish nobody

I mean, he did state that she thanked him in a caption for a picture posted to social media. But that also isn't in any way, shape, or form a viable method of giving thanks in such a situation. Especially considering that she likely didn't know, at minimum, the full extent of what he was going through back home

For story 1, as shitty as what she did was, I get the feeling that she was being truthful about sleeping around. It did seem more like she was trying to escape her steady mental decline and, given her age and family history, she was too scared to wait in case her mind state declined further. But regardless, that was really shitty of her to do. She should have talked about it with OP before acting on anything

Personally don't get married or have kids before your 30s, freeze your eggs or sperms if needed. Just invest your whole 20s making your career and exploring that's the way to go and then after you feel satisfied with your single life then find yourself a partner who'll love you as much as you'll love them.

Honestly yes. Five things all people should follow is: 1: Dont get married before thirty. 2: Always get a prenup. If you get the “you don’t trust me” talk they’re ignoring the fact they also get a prenup and they’ll take everything. 3: Keep finances seperated. 4: Freeze as many batches of sperm/eggs you can in a year (litterally try to donate once a week), so theres no “I used it all and it failed😔” then get a vasectomy/tubes tied then don’t say anything, this prevents baby trapping. 5: Don’t have kids before 25.

@@Extremelybraindeadhumanbeing true... I see all these kids getting pregnant at 16 and 17 hell even 20 is young to be a parent. And the over glorification of marrying young. One should always sort out their career first before getting married or having kids. And i totally agree with all your points too.
