Nice work. I had a colony of cats take up residence in my backyard. Got sucked in by the kittens & now they're all my indoor cats

I'm glad he's just rolling with the rescues....my husband finally gave up, too.😂

I Salute You! My personal motto has always been 'feed them, fix them.' I've gotten nearly 40 cats 'fixed' over about 30 years, not including all my home kitties...most of em over a 4 year period when I found a colony of strays in the abandoned greenhouses next door. Idk of anything else that feels as satisfying as taking care of animals.

You're BOTH compassionate lovers of life and it shows...BIG! Thank you, both🥰🥰🥰

This is amazing! I’m not a “cat person”, (been raised with dogs all my life) but I to fed the neighborhood strays. One of the neighborhood cats found herself in the family way. 😜 I didn’t nor would I ever judge her. Nope…I just continued to feed, and sing too her. I knew she started to trust me because she’d allow me to pet her every now and again. She trusted me so much that she found her way into our home and had all of her babies in my grandmother’s bed! 😂 It was a litter of 7! When they were old enough to live without their Mom, they all went to very loving homes. ❤

Aww bless you ❤ I bet your grandma was happy that she chose her BED of all places for her delivery date😂. I used to bring random strays (cat, dog, birds) as a kid to feed and shelter, my old school grandma was not a fan but she never told me to stop.

I did the same thing. One turned into spaying, neutering and shots for an entire colony. Fostering 5 until all were successfully adopted. In 1 day I might add. Kept 4 who prefer living in the great outdoors (they will come inside, but want to go back outside.) with a massive porch with their water/food bowls, beds and cat scratching post/toys. We moved and took them with...captured one at a time. The rest of the colony is fed by the new home owner with an enclosed fence for them and adjoining neighbor does too. So, all turned out okay. 🙏 Bless their precious purry hearts. No joke, this turned into a major investment. But. They are living better for it and not reproducing an untold amount of babies. Ours have breakaway, reflective collars with good bells...and a backyard forest to explore. Safe. Temperate climate. They get vet care and treatments as needed. I have to admit, I miss the ones we had to leave behind.😢

God Bless this couple for everything they do. Ohhh Gosh this story reminds me of my own with me and my husband, not only with cats though, Dogs too. I’ve Adopted 4 dogs and rescued 3 other dogs and 2 cat’s. The best decision I ever made and Love that My Husband is as accepting of them as I am. They deserve all the love and attention and affection they can possibly get. 🙆🏽‍♀️🐾💕💋

I admit that when we have love and compassion for any creature we take seriously to the end of their lives. I rescued a total of 6 cats and I end up keeping them all. They left me a lot of memories and treasures.. they're in heaven . Plus 1 that I had prior. .. they all co exist. ..
