The scrip writer has a twisted mind. Just because he cheats then his wife cheats too. He did not even acknowledge his unborn child. Strip him of his right as a father.

They are not cheating. They want the wife to think that because he is dying and does not want the wife to know to suffer and be sad so he wants her to leave. Yes stupid plot.

I consider this act to more selfish than anything. This is a narcissistic attitude. Basically he’s making himself larger than life. It might be true that his loved ones will be distressed but he’s selfishly thinking everybody would be so bad off if they knew he was dying. He’s the one that can’t handle the pain, he’s looking out for himself not the others. I think the girl pal is even worse. I know he made her promise but she herself is making herself important as well because he trusted her. You don’t hold this information away from his loved ones. He’s going to be gone in a matter of a few months then you’ll have to live with the disgust and guilt of not giving the precious last moments to his loved ones. She would do so much better to both sides if she told his family from the beginning. He would have forgiven her and soon as his family gave him the last moments on earth the love and support he desperately needs throughout this illness

What puzzles me is the doctor friend and if maybe she's been in love with him all along. Because as a medical professional she likely has seen patients with a terminal illness more than once, so accordingly she would know how important last wishes are to them. However, with this guy, he is a friend - who is also her patient, so she has an obligation not to disclose his condition to anyone without his permission. Because of this he has doctor/patient confidentiality on his side to support his desperate plan (not realizing it's pervasive flavor actually makes it a plot). But her participation in hurting his wife is cruel. If she has been openly friends with him so long - by now wouldn't his wife be her friend, too?! So, how could she hurt her in a way that as a woman she should know that nothing could hurt more than finding out the man you love is a cheater. Sure, his death wouldn't be kind to her feelings, but infidelity(!), and with a trusted friend? I think the doctor has an ulterior motive in joining into this plot. Not necessarily out of menace to the wife but in grasping the time he has left to fulfill her 'fantasy' of being with him. (I. E. It's her chance.) She not only gets to be the only insider about the illness so his absolute go-to, but this carries over into his life as well. She is 'it' for him. Why else would she participate unless she has personal (secret?) feelings that trump whatever she thinks and feels about the wife? I pity her her predicament of bearing his secret. I'm disgusted with her for participating. This is out of line as a friend. She should have given him an adamant, NO. And, told glorious tales of other couples siezing enjoyment of their surviving moments...should have persuaded him not to hurt the woman he loves because she would automatically rally herself - without pitying him - to the situation. Just a thought... .

@@brendamelvin3490 exactly! I think the friend likes the idea of the importance he’s given her. To keep a secret, okay medical violations, but the infidelity role playing is way too much. I can’t help to think also she has an alternative motive. I think dying husband is being way too selfish.

Let this disgusting man live whatever life or fantasy he has. He will live his life with that doc for a short period. While the wife has the child and his family. The wife will have something the third female don’t have. (Baby). I don’t think his mom will accept her. Specially knowing she kept his illness from her, I don’t think it will be good at the end. With the test did they find out he also has the same thing?

Por que hacen series con protagonistas egoístas, desalmados, corruptos, con coprotagonistas llamense esposas o esposos, novias o novios idiotas??? Deberian poner coprotagonistas que sepan huir de los problemas que esos narcisista crean. Y ser siempres víctimas, que bajo el paraguas de " lo amo" soprtan todo tipo de maltrato. Eduquen!!! Se debe ser feliz y no soportar nunca a personas que te dañen. Y no aceptar que si te defiendes, abandonando al cretino o cretina, te culpe de egoista.

Nesses dramas,onde os escritores embelezam as traições,nada faz sentido . Suas ideias são todas pra o lado errado e sombrio de tudo.

Mesmo na cama ele fica galanteando a amante. Q NOJO do já vai tarde. O mínimo q a esposa merecia era respeito e, saber a verdade. Nem pra isso ele prestou.

Esse personagem pode morrer, duvido q morra, pq os roteiristas só enaltecem os canalhas, ainda assim é pouco. O q importa é a dignidade com q a pessoa vive, e, ele, de digno não tem nada.
