Hi Kemzy. you can use Achi to thicken Ekusi. Ibo People like achi instead of karri. But Achi can cooked saperate though.. you're a good cook weldone... Your is a lucky Man....

As an alternative starch, try a thick, doughy, Yorkshire pudding. Just forget that you're a nurse, if you're worried about the oil. You can dm me for the recipe.

No dear,?garri in egusi soup won’t go well. It’s usually used to thicken either white soup or fisherman soup. You can get away with using garri in those. Cheers😊
