The video presents the story of the reaction of the singer, Wiera Gran, to her recordings from the distant past.
In 1990, the author of the video sent her a cassette with a recording of several songs she had performed, which were broadcast on the radio in 1948/49. The singer's reaction to what she heard was very critical, both in terms of the recorded singing and the piano accompaniment. She described it in detail in her letter to the author from February 1991, which is quoted in the video.
And, of course, the video also includes a recording of Wiera Gran's most popular song - "List".

Dziękuję za podzielenie się tym ciekawym nagraniem i historią z nim związaną. Świadczy ona o wysokim poziomie i dążeniu do perfekcji artystki. Nie wiedziałem, że pani Wiera lubiła malować - artystycznie napisany rok 1991 :)

Miała szereg umiejętności manualnych i kolekcjonerskich: sama kitowała przeciekające szyby, okna i opanowała domową hydraulikę gdy ta bywała niesprawna. A przed wyrażeniem krytyki - nie było u niej żadnych wahań...:)
Fortunately, you included a summary of the video contents in English, since my Polish knowledge sadly is non-existent... I can only listen in awe to the recording played in the video, and it is flawlessly superb. No doubt that Ms Gran, aiming at the highest artistical standards, was critical because a live radio performance will fatally be less rehearsed and polished :-)

You wrote just what is the point of this video. Miss Gran's writings - which may still appear... - need a sophisticated professional interpreter-translator, as she acts as a writer herself, putting something more than the mere facts. And knowing very well that what has been written, may be read by posterity, -
