everyone who visit Poland should go and see this place

I went many years back. They also have a health resort inside the mine, where you can stay for lung ailments and overnight stays. Truly an amazing place.

I bet they charge money per night, and a hefty amount,so the poor people can be denied the privilege, leaving them to suffer

I was there yesterday. A 2,5 hr tour, pretty awesome.

it was amazing. i was really touched. even the story about the miners who spent whole their life at underground to carve, polish. without passion and devotion, they could not make a miraculous art !

But they did actually over time. Of course they were probably worked to death under horrid conditions as well as starvation

Nothing on KZread about the Wielicszka Salt Mine Band? I read in "Salt: A History of the World" that they have been active and performing in this mine since 1831. Shame, would be cool to see.

Trasa turystyczna to około 3 km. a cała kopalnia to około 300 km. tak więc zwiedza się 1%
