Getting a mortgage at 65K would have been no problem. There had to be back taxes and other issues involved. When things are looking up you got "friends" but when you down people got other things to do.

Ran across stuff like this before...death, grief, loss, illness, depression, always the same on every occasion. People will often judge without hearing the story, I'm glad you were able to tell it. Check your neighbors, be kind, if you have nothing to give, just give time and some love....so many people are really not "okay". I pray that Diane finds the resources and the people she needs to help lift her up and improve her life.

We just don’t know what the reason behind all of this. We sometimes make judgments not knowing what has happened to people. Sometimes when people lose someone in their life we don’t know what the situation was and how people deal with it. So sorry she had to live like this. Sometimes it could have been a mental or physical condition that she didn’t get help with.

I agree. I have a lovely soon-to-be ex daughter-in-law who is a hoarder of the past and dead relatives possessions. She has refused medical help for numerous issues. I fear she will be facing similar issues one day.

Hi Juan so sad. Our only Son died a year ago. Our only Granddaughter live 's a 100 miles away. Lost our Daughter 8 years ago We have bought a place in a retirement village. We are selling our lovely house to be near her. It is heartbreaking the things we have to get rid of. Even charity shops don't seem grateful any more. Hope you &family are all well. I wonder, if she is entitled to a portion of the overage? That the loan company gets. When they sell the house. After getting all their costs recovered. When ❤it sells. And I would definitely clean things as thoroughly as possible. Without ruining them. Before introducing them to your storage area, your house or your store. Incase of eggs laid by roaches.

She probably had so many memories in it that she thought she could save it and would fight to keep it since she work so hard for her dream home. Time slipped away from her. So sad.

Do you find enjoyment in watching someone removed from their home?

I think sometimes in sad situations, people just lose hope and cant see their way forward, and just dont care anymore, and just give up. Proper Mental health, (and workable councelors that truly know how to help people) in this country is sorely needed.

Generally something such as a nervous breakdown or just giving up leads to this…losing something like a job or home can cause this …it’s a symptom of cptsd to have lots of clutter and leads to hoarding as an unconscious attempt to keep people away…I’ve struggled a lot with clutter when I was a neat freak growing up but it’s been the symptom showing it’s face when things get hard ..I’m the family scapegoat and have discovered when I’m blamed for something and am the last to find out…and then learn about the accusations and an already found guilty with no ability to defend myself or prove otherwise…my mess gets worse because subconsciously I want to keep people at bay…the fewer people around the less I can be scapegoated …however this harms the ability to create new friendships that would be healthy for me to have to help me get through this rut….I have no support through these issues except from my youngest son who doesn’t deserve to have to deal with it so it’s quite easy to let spin out of control…I have sympathy for this type of situation

I haven't seen your channel for some time now. This was such a great video. First I was like yelling at you to get this or that. I am glad you got some good pieces from the curb. Wished you would have gotten some other stuff too. Then the story of Diane. Wow! She was done wrong by bank. They took advantage of her in her elderly years. I wish she had an advocate for her. She really needed a lawyer on this one. I hope she has a safe place to rest her head at night. This is the real economics of today. High inflation and greed has forced people out of their homes. For fixed income Americans this is what is truly happening all across this nation. No support for the elderly. Let me tell you even I at 66 am having trouble functioning mentally with everything. Having to make so many choices about life and taxes and repairs and medical issues. It is overwhelming. I too have no help. No cooperation from government sources. here in the uk this would never be allowed we just do not dump stuff out onto the street it would not be allowed the council send in cleaning crews to sort everything and throw it all into skips which will then be taken to the tip then some of it will be recycled and the rest will go to the landfill ,no amount of money would make me look through all that it is infested

I watch dumpster diving videos from the UK actually two of them almost daily they waste as much as we do here in the US I've watched one where a toy store smashed every single toy because the guy was saving it from the landfill. Same with non profit organizations that are supposed to help the needy fill their bins with usable items. They fill baskets daily with good usable food clothing and electronics to donate to the less fortunate since the stores refuse to do it. Maybe in your neighborhoods it's a little different but it's not like that every where most towns will only let you have what will fit in your bin out by the curb on trash day but that does no good for the planet if people can't see it to save it you do see houses like this from time to time and it's actually better this way people get a chance to save it instead of it going straight to the landfill it might not look appealing but it will be gone by pickers like him or a clean up crew in a few days. I'm also sure this lady who lost everything was happier to know someone could look past the bugs to save a few things instead of it all going to waste.

You never know what's going on in other people's lives...that's why you should never judge anybody. My prayers today are for Diana today.... May God watch over her give her comfort and keep her close In Jesus name....amen

Widow? That’s heartbreaking. Unless she’s a really, REALLY bad person, the community should’ve stepped up to help her. Also, how do you live in a million dollar house and not have insurance to pay it off? I thought all adults get enough life insurance to cover everything. Million dollar house would require a million dollar policy and this is proof that it’s necessary. We don’t even have half that amount that requires coverage. Do people not think about living within the means with only one income anymore? That’s another thing grown ups should be considering. If it takes two people working specific jobs that aren’t career like lawyer, doctor, teacher, nurse something that you know there will always be openings if you get let go, you should be buying property based on one income and not both. I guess these new generations do things differently.

Before the week was done trash came by and took it all. I talked to the lady for a while. She only wanted a few clothes and said the rest was free to whomever could take it. I gave her some cash before I left . There was no way she was saving any of it.

Usually 9 times out of 10 the mortgage complies will work with you, the government has programs to help keep you in your home. My husband and I have been behind several times from time to time over the last 10 years. The key is calling them early on. Plus if her husband died from Covid the government had a program which just ended in May that they would pay for the funeral up to $10,000. The only reason I know about this is because my mom died last November and the funeral home told my sister to apply for it. Also, if Covid is why she got behind the mortgage company was suppose to work some kind of program to keep you in your home. I pray she finds her way. I totally understand what she is going through. It’s stressful and heartbreaking.

As a side note, even though the one pair of ladies shoes you pulled from the pile looked unworn from the top, the underside part is scuffed up pretty heavily so that says they were definitely worn quite a bit. Also, if you compare both the left and right shoe to one another, you can see what’s left of the shimmery appliqué fabric is not the same on each shoe and there actually a good bit of the shimmery fabric that’s missing.

The way to test if pearls are real or not is to (of course wash them first), then scrape a pearl on your tooth. If it's gritty against your tooth, it's real. I would watch for the house to go up on a sheriff's sale. If there isnt much owing on the house, she can get a private lender to loan her the money. She would have to have the property in someone else's name though. I helped a friend of mine a few years ago to get a private lender. @@TexanPicker With roches, you leave the item outside for a few days away from your house,and they will all disappear. A friend of mine lived in a place that had them. They put all her furniture, and such outside, and by morning they were all gone. She told me in case I ever got them. I always kill any bug I see. Which is mostly flies. The government should have stepped in to help the woman, to keep her home, as she caught covid and was very sick with it. Our government was giving people $2,000.00 per month so that their mortgage/rent would be covered, and to purchase food as long as they were working when everything was shut down. I feel so bad for her, and I will keep her in my prayers.
