Widebody JDM Spec Mazda RX-7… Bought For $1,500!?

Time is a cruel thing. How many of us would go back to 2013 to pick up a running FD RX-7 for just $1,500??? Even though it was in Japan, we’re gonna go ahead and guess that this car would’ve been a good spend for less than a set of some rep wheels these days. Anyway, while we’re gonna go drown our sorrows in eBay Motors, enjoy this feature on this street-spec FD RX-7 from Full Detail Automotive.

0:46 Is that a z31 in the background? It’s cool to see people working on those. Seems like they’re usually in the shadow of the z32 and even those aren’t the most popular thing.

I have a z32 and I'm looking for another to daily but I have a few extra thousand ready for when I find me a z31 that calls my name. I just can't get over the weird hotboi aesthetic that you can do super easily and seeing afr_miami on Instagram gap everything with a single cam 3.0l v6 is crazy

This is so awesome! But I'm so distracted, Z31 IN THE BACKGROUND!! I have one and don't see them often so ADHD screams.

I put my shoes in the trunk too🤣. I drive barefoot to keep my interior clean and I like the pedal feel. Super easy to heel toe if you have bare feet lol.

Full Detail Automotive your car, your shop, and your attitude is awesome man. I live on Maui and there are no tuning/ performance shops here. It’d be so cool to have a shop like yours near by. But my bank account would have way less in it. My first turbo car was an FC and I loved it. But back in 2003 no one here knew how to work on them very well. Hopefully Someday I’ll have an FD🙏🏼

I hate how at the time all these JDM ledgends were ridiculously cheap and I didnt have the money, but now that I managed to save up they shoot up in price over night and cost way too much. All this price gouging has made me lose interest all together 😑😪.

$1500 for an rx7 is still dirt cheap for US prices in 2013 blown up or not. Sold my blown up fd for $5500 in half a day in 2012, there were people calling from across the US about it within an hour of posting lol. Which was still cheap as hell and regret doing but it had cost me so much money at that point that I just didn’t care and had bills to pay. 😏
