Love the thin rubber coating on the lip. I have a discontinued pair of Mizuno Monarcidas that have the same thing, it's quite effective at protecting k-leather on AG.

I purchased the Athleta O-Rei Treinamento A005, which is essentially the turf version of these boots, and they are absolutely incredible! Just put these T7’s on order with Tokyo Football and I can’t wait to get them on feet. Thanks for the review.

So so good and massively underrated brand, great boots as well. Love that your are doing smaller brands, even if you are beating me to the punch! The other laces are designed to stretch a little during play.

Glad to see a boot reviewer cover Athleta. Bought my O Rei turf shoes in Taiwan back in 2020, still playing in them. I can easily vouch for Athleta’s build quality. I wish the big brands wouldn’t turn away from K-leather, it’s truly the best material for football boots. Speaking of which, any plans to do a one month review of the Copa Mundial in that gorgeous Argentina blue?

I think he has to get a pair that are actually his size first😅 The blue pair he got were true to size, and they seemed about 1 to 1.5 size too big

Long enough for good traction but not long enough to be dangerous - probably a bit shorter than the Morelia 2 MIJ

They're alright! Not my favorite for sure. The comfort and play experience makes up for it 100% though, absolutely unreal on feet
