ariana sold it me as glinda, she’s seen the original show and has always talked about doing wicked, there was a leaked snippet of her vocals for no one mourns the wicked and they were AMAZING. i’m not the biggest fan of ariana grande but you just have to learn how to separate a person from their artwork

i’m personally a fan of the split into two parts because that just means we’re getting more wicked content. And this is just not going to be a interpretation of the broadway play, the play is based on a book. Also were going to get wizard of oz content bc in the teaser that came out 3 months ago That was just for part 1 and they actually showed the big 4 in that trailer when in the play they can’t be showned and this specific trailer is for part 1 bc u don’t see anything from act 2

They are adding a bunch of stuff from the book so they only highlighted the parts to hook people up.

Hopefully, that also means the LGBTQ+ moments between Gelphie (and Fiyeraba). Hell, add Liir ("Son of a Witch") for goodness' sake!

i don’t think they showed that much it was only 3 minutes out like 4 hours of the two movies were gonna get😭 and they didn’t show the actual plot. nor did they show us like any music other than little snippets of popular and defying gravity

Most of the plot we already know from MacGuire's book & the stage musical, as well as _The Wizard of Oz_ itself serving as a background anchor, of course.

The problem here is, in the BOOK, both Fiyero & Elphie DiE FOR REAL. The musical changed the ending from tragic to bittersweet (i.e. Elphie faking her death & leaving Oz with Scarecrow!Fiyero) to send audiences home happy. The thing is, Elphaba is NOT a villain in WICKED (part 1 & part 2 [aside from her caving to the pressure in _No Good Deed_ whereby she says, "So, let all of OZ be agreed: I'm WICKED. Through & through. Since I cannot succeed. Fiyero, in saving you, No Good Deed will I attempt to do again. Ever again. No Good Deed will I do again!"]), she was tragically miscast/typecast as one, henceforth leading to her melting.

To get more views you guys probably have to react the day or next day trailers come out! ❤️🩶
