Totally agree!

Have you used the advanced guide? I have it but haven’t found too many benefits over the standard edge guide that comes with it. It’s a very inexpensive piece so worth picking up either way.

Overall nice, esp that you can do alternating passes way quicker than with single side systems. But min 13dps? Really sad. A very effcient way of sharpening is to create a 10dps or lower transition bevel. Which is an alternative to thinning as it still drastically improves performance but with far less work. Then a 15dps (or whatever angle one prefers) microbevel, even 0.1mm is already stable enough for most tasks, maybe 0.2mm for harder tasks. The low surface area makes touchups take seconds. That cutting performance & touchup speed is something else. After trying this, one never can go back to single bevel edges... 😅

For sure it's a nice bit of kit but for the price, I do not see the need vs the Worksharp Precision Pro. Now, I have no hands-on experience with the Wicked edge but the edges I get on the Precision Pro are hair-splitting. For the price I cant see the benefits to be worth the upcharge. Just my .02

729 for this primo version and 500 for the base version. Looks like a great sharpener, but man, that's a lot of dough.

There's No Doubt the Sharpener is Great just one problem most people can't afford it especially being the federal reserve fiat counterfeit currency is bankrupt!!!

@@tacticaltavern apologize for repeat but it's obvious the power control structure is being removed and We really should be able to afford anything like We were living in the 50's all over again with Super Modern technologies
