Thanks for showing me how to make one of these in detail. I will be making me one for my lawnmower. A vapor carburetor for my mower should make for a odor free mowing maintenance chores. I just love the smell of fresh cut grass around me in the warm weather months. What made you think of making on of these gadgets Double M ???

Check out the 'vapor kid' channel. He's the only one I found who has done something like this, about a decade ago; and did it with a lawnmower. I have a list of ideas I want to work on, and this fell into place now.

Interesting! What's the benefit of this over propane, other than availability of fuel?

As a torch, I'd rather use propane torch. The description of this video is: "Exploring the possibilities of a wick vapor carburetor. First as a gasoline torch." I'm doing R & D on a wick vapor carburetor to produce sufficient and consistent vapors, for a gasoline engine. I decide that it would be more simple to test the development of vapors with a torch first, rather than trying to run and engine first. -if that's what you mean. Other: gasoline has more energy content than propane,. Using gasoline for an engine really isn't that efficient using conventional means, but they do work well. People have been trying to develop vapor carburetors for a long time trying to improve efficiency. I'm just looking in to it myself.

great! can you use a hair dryer to induce heated air on the system to prevent it from getting cold. just a suggestion.

Yes, adding heat did the trick when I advance this into the 'Down Wick' carburetor. Thanks
