WIC Healthy Recipes | Sizzle Summer Sweet Salad Recipe

Ingredients:
1.5 cups strawberries
1 orange
2 bananas
1 cup blueberries
½ cup canned pineapple chunks (in 100% pineapple juice)
½ cup almonds
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons lime juice
Instructions:
Clean strawberries, blueberries, orange, and lime by rinsing under water.
1. Peel the bananas and orange. Cut strawberries, bananas, and orange to preferred size.
2. Add blueberries and cut fruit from step 2 into a large bowl.
3. Place skillet on stove over medium heat. Add pineapple to skillet and cook for 3-6 minutes or until charred or browned.
4. Optional: grill pineapple on medium heat until charred, about 3-6 minutes per side.
Set pineapple aside to cool or combine immediately with other fruit.
5. Chop the almonds.
6. In a small bowl, add honey and lime juice and stir together.
7.Add chopped almonds and dressing to the fruit bowl and stir.
8.Serve right away or put
