Top video. I think this is even better than Axelsen analysis. Bravo! Zheng and Huang are both complete players, very efficient, and very difficult to nitpick their weakness. You need to play the best game of your life in order to have a chance of beating them. They're also so respectful! What's not to like? And massive respect for those who's been able to challenge them to the limit: Yuta/Arisa and Dechapol/Sapsiree.

Wow, thank you very much! 🤗 Haha, definitely agree about the 'you need to play the best game of your life' - one thing we didn't mention in the video was that when we played them it often felt like we were playing 3 people rather than 2 because there was no space on the court & they were so fast 😂

Huang and Zheng are my idols. I enjoy watching their games and absolutely love their speed, power and skills. I was heartbroken when they were split up earlier this year. super glad to see they managed to get back together and became even stronger. Your video brought a different way to watch their games and actually get inspired by them. Thank you for this video ! Guess who will go back and re-watch their games this weekend:)

Currently 4 minutes in and had to pause because of how good it has been so far! I was hoping this would be similar to your Viktor Axelsen analysis video and it is looking like it could be even better (which I did not think was possible) 😲 Very excited to watch the rest! P.s. I think Jenny won the accuracy competition 🤩

No wonder why Gill Clark accepted you to join in for the BWF commentaries. This time it makes me don't miss for more content, a perfect balance of lengh and variety of Insights. Hi Jenny and Greg, love all your videos especially these players analyses! Could we get one for Watanabe/Higashino as one of the other top mixed pairs who have a distinctly different style? A breakdown of their strengths and weaknesses would be super valuable as they have some incredibly identifiable strengths (his flair and vision, speed and unorthodox play which lacks Zheng’s consistency; Arisa’s aggression which comes at the sacrifice of defence - in particular cross court blocks which was highlighted in their recent Japan games against them). Thanks for all your hard in growing this channel! Great to see how far you’ve come from watching you play at BUCS…

Really like that you pointed out that even when the intercept player moves the wrong way, it still actually provides an advantage to the back court player, to signal them where they need to protect. Just illustrates how important it is for the intercept player to be aggressive, and cut the down the options of the player hitting the shuttle.

Hey Greg and Jenny, this is such a great video! You guys are bringing some top quality analysis that this sport desperately needs. Things like error rate, and analysis on serves should definitely be talked about more often. Maybe in the future you can partner with BWF to launch a series that focuses solely on analytics (so you guys don't have to spend 20 hours on looking at footage but someone else can compile the stats for ya)? There's definitely a lot of work that can be done here, will be interested to see players in the past as well like LCW and Lin Dan. Look forward to seeing more analysis from you guys!

What timing! I've also watched a lot of their matches lately and this video came at a perfect time! Awesome analysis as always. I was wondering if you both can touch the subjects of their "relentless attacking" playing style and also their physicality? I've watched a video of Zheng Si Wei's body conditioning training and it's insane! A lot of it is focused on training the core so I think that's one of the reason why he's so quick at the court.

I think Zhang and Huang is arguably the best mixed double pair of all time, feels like they're even better than Zhang Nan/ZhaoYunLei. Would love to see how them play against the prime Liliyana Natsir.

For social players, depending on your level, most of you should not be afraid of lifting if you have strong defence.

I'd say Jenny's were harder to defend - those 2 that were higher would be very awkward. I suppose you could crouch lower and use a forehand or stand up and use a backhand or may move to the side a little but either way it's trickier to produce a quality return. Although I do think she backed-off the power quite a bit to ensure accuracy 😉 (I'd argue that, assuming you don't hit it out the back, aiming for the ribs/armpit area can be more effective than the hip)

Speaking of serving, Zheng and Huang got called service fault 9 times in one game in 2022 Denmark Open, what a shame to the referees trying to manipulate the game.

I really think they score the most in service situations and with their aura. Should you try to get clever at the net, Huang is probably more clever. If you lack respect for them, Zheng will put it into you with a smash+scream. Pretty much no apparent weaknesses. You need the attack somehow from your own serve. The amounts of times I have seen them closing gaps by getting serve back (mostly to Huang) is incredible.

I am be honest many players can play game in a better form but very few players will have the ability to be both a coach and a player just like you both. That's the difference between players inside the court and players in the game field ❤️❤️.
