I would like to think a surge of infinite cursed energy during his jackpot put him above yuta in terms of cursed energy during those four minutes he is above yuta consistantly but under specific conditions he does

JJK is that series where many youtubers make a lot of mistakes in the facts. Ishigori doesn't have more CE than yuta. He just has more CE OUTPUT than Yuta.

Also, the many cursed spirits that appeared after the shibuya were the result of the shibuya arc itself, not kenjaku unleashing those cursed spirits. When he used idle transfiguration (bruh, just realized he wasn't even using geto's technique to begin with, how do people confuse this?) on tengen's barrier, he made all non sorcerers with cursed techniques into sorcerers (so people like junpei who had potential as sorcerers, but were just regular people) and people who he had ingest cursed objects become unleashed (like itadori and sukuna or the death paintings) as well as destroy seals on other cursed objects which in turn create, attract and make stronger cursed spirits. All of this combined with the chaos and meany deaths of the shibuya incident caused the millions of cursed spirits rather than kenjaku amassing this number using geto's body.

@@natied5849 this is flat out wrong. Kenjaku says i have given people like junpei the ability to use ce. And vessels that i had injest curse objects strength as vessels.(the objects that were ingested were under a seal so they would all reincarnate at the same time) then he says as of now the seals on the curse objects have been broken.(this when the people that got strength as vessel so they dont instantly die start to be taken over by the old sorcerers.) THEN he says however i have not only made contracts woth sorcerers and proceds to release 10 million curses.

The thing with Yuta's personality is that he thinks of his friends very highly compared to other people. This can be seen even from the JJK zero manga/movie where he genuinely amazed by Inumaki's ability, while he doesnt give much respect towards Geto's.

@@Alatris Yuta is stated to be 2nd to Gojo before Hakari's introduction lol, in a fan book written by Gege there was a translated question that read, "What exactly is Hakari's ability that makes him even stronger than Okkotsu?" Plus Maki's saying it's not true implies her bias on Yuta even further considering she shouldn't even know about Hakari's CT and DE because she's never seen him fight. With the unusual abilities translation, it could just be referring to Yuta's immense amount of hax because of his CT and Rika being able to become storage for extra cursed tools and CE. Yuta and Hakari should at the least be implied to be on the same level due to Gojo's statement. Although in a battle I don't think Yuta has the stamina to outlast Hakari, especially since Ryu was able to easily handle Yuta and Rika despite being below Kashimo, who didn't see Ryu as an exciting opponent to fight.

It’s funny because a lot of people write him off, after his fight with hajime saying that he has shown everything he can do, but during his fight he was specifically trying to get his 100 points not kill hajime, while hajime was trying to kill him. I definitely think their is more he has not shown us.

I think a weirdly important detail is Yuta's smile. Whenever Yuta talks about him defeating someone it is always with a dead serious face. When he says Hakari is stronger than him, he is smiling. He is back to his relaxed, timid self that appears when he is among friends. During the end of TMMTS he fights Geto and doesn't smile but is serious about beating him, however he is still super nervous and I doubt he thinks of himself as "strong" in that moment.

Yuta wasn't lying about Hakari because Hakari's technique can make it impossible to defeat him. His Cursed Technique is almost flawless. I do think Yuta was being modest because that's his character, and Maki's character is raw honesty, and also Maki has shown to be great at assessing someone's strength and skills. Yuta fought a Special Grade Curse Spirit and TWO Grade 1 level Sorcerers and most of that battle he DID NOT USE RIKA! That's says a lot

@@ahmadkazan5473 They’d be Grade 1. Special Grades for sorcerers are a much more demanding criteria than Curses. If a sorcerer like Naobito isn’t special grade, these guys aren’t either. They’re surely stronger than say, Nanami, but all the Grades have some level of variance.

Saying that kashimo not using his technique counts against hakari's strength is missing the entire point of the fight. Kashimo literally said that he can only use his technique 1 time and then it's gone for good, and that he only wants to use it against sukuna. that relegates it to a plot device. He wouldn't use it against any of the disaster cursed, or yuta. The fact that he decided to reduce his cursed energy to absolute zero before he decided to use his technique to kill hakari makes this abundantly clear. This means that kashimo's strength in his fight with hakari, IS his strength. Even if his technique could just give him a kill for free, the fact that he can only use it one time means that his TECHNIQUE (not him) holds the same position in the story as gojo and sukuna. Their strength is so far above everybody that you can really judge people's strength based on their losses to those two, in the same way that you can't judge somebody's strength against kashimo's by him not using his technique during their fight. Kashimo said as much when hakari said that he didnt feel like the win was legit. Nevertheless, he only gets to be on that level 1 time. Swap kashimo out with yuta in his colony, and there's a damn good chance that he walks out with the win too, without using his technique.

I feel like hakari is a wild card and yuta is more an ace in the hole. Both useful and even needed in different situations and circumstances

Great video! But I have a few gripes; The first one being that you put Hakari down for Kashimo not using his cursed technique against him. As Kashimo stated he can only use it once, so he’s saving it for the very best of the best(Sukuna) so even if you swap Yuta for Hakari, Kashimo wouldn’t use his cursed technique, he’d simply rely on his fighting ability and knowledge of cursed energy(and I think that’s the point of his character, showing the audience how useful raw cursed energy can be) My second gripe being that Hakari has shown immense skill in that fight and it wasn’t really mentioned. He did things like moving the coordinates of his domain’s barrier and he also proved to be more or less immortal even from thing that SHOULD kill him. Example; A destroyed brain or poison. Hakari has a lot of similarities to Gojo during his second fight with Toji, just pure madness and rule breaking.

Hakari is a lot more instinctual in his fights and doesn't actively process situations that well which leaves him a few steps behind a smart opponent and causing him to mostly rely on his immortality. Yuta is a tier above, with the raw skill, strength and wits to match everyone we've ever seen in the series except the 2 characters who are in their own tier.

We saw Hakari process a situation during the initial battle with Charles(attack from his blind spot to negate future sight) We also saw him shift his barriers coordinates(something we haven’t seen anyone else do) to drop Kashimo into the sea to neutralize him. So while I do admit he’s more of a brawler, he has has shown that he’s very smart as well. As for his level of skill, there exists many facets to that, being able to identify the poison within himself and heal(something Kashimo thought was probably impossible) and also ejecting Kashimo’s cursed energy and simultaneously healing.

Hakari never actually used a cursed technique in his fight and he didn’t even seem to be taking it seriously tbh. Yuta seemed more ready to kill in his fight and more serious and then after securing the the win he allowed them to live and just transfer the point. He killed the other 2 sorcerers in the 4 way deadlock. Hakari showed up to have fun and secure points lol. He was even dancing in the fight .

I think with the emphasis on “having fun” or being free and being “selfish”= more tapped potential thus Hakari might have the edge in jujutsu with his more “selfish”, egotistical, risk taking,fun loving self(much like toji, mahito,sukuna,gojo and kenjaku) also remember when Hanami took mahito’s words to heart about “having fun” against todo and yuji? She was about to turn up until gojo came.

when it comes to Yuta's confidence, it depends highly on the subject. When it was about comparing himself to Hakari, he would say he's weaker because he doesn't have much self esteem in social situations but when it comes to helping others then his self esteem shoots up an ungodly amount, this happened during the final battle of 0 where bro was so confident about killing Geto but was mentally frail everywhere else. It was cause he got angry for SOMEONE ELSE'S sake(Maki, Panda, and Inumaki) which matches up with his character, before the whole "I will kill Kenjaku" shpeal, he talks about how much pain Gojo must be going through seeing the corpse of his best friend do all this and how he felt responsible for giving him Geto's body, It was much less a flex dialogue than it was a statement about his responsibility. He feels HE gave Kenjaku Geto’s body, so HE has to kill him so Gojo doesn’t have to kill his own best friend twice.

It's really not that complicated, it's like being inserted into a real life slot game except the caster of the domain (Hakari) is usually always gonna win unfairly. Replicating how usually the house always wins with unfair advantages in real gambling. And then the jackpot is just = Infinite Cursed energy. Pretty simple.

@@oreki8707 kashimo is not more lethal than yuta,yuta was tanking and clashing with possibly the strongest attacks in the culling games and currently has 3 cursed techniques(4 counting mimicry).Hakari's sure hit is the fastest not the expansion of the barrier since he explains his domain.

There should also be notice that their goals at the end are completely different, Yuta is trying to save humanity and kill Kenjaku. While Hakari is trying to capitalize on the situation.. That thrive is all .. In my opinion..

About Hakari's bonus, I'm pretty sure it's always infinite CE. The unofficial translation implied that Hakari didn't knwo what the bonus would be, but the official only says that CHARLES didn't know. Also, there's some things I'd like to comment about Hakari and his domain: First of all: it's rigged. The "Hakari is extremely lucky" panel is what Kashimo was thinking, but that's not quite right. He got an instant jackpot because the domain was in faster spins + increased probability mode, but it was hidden. Not only that, but "the house always wins" is a common saying in gambling, and Hakari is the house here. Second: you're saying as if there's ANYONE other than Sukuna that would make Kashimo use his CT. There isn't. Kashimo literally chose to use all of his CE to blow Hakari up and risk being caught empty handed (which he was) than use his CT. And, even though Hakari wasn't immortal when the explosion happened, HE STILL SURVIVED, which brings me to my third point Third: Hakari is probably one of, if not the best (except for the usual Gojo/Sukuna/Kenjaku), at manipulating CE (and probably has one of the most refined DEs). Mf has a highly customized DE (which is immune to counter DE techniques because of it's speed of activation and because his sure-hit is non-offesnive) that grants him infinite CE and fully automatic RCT (even when he's unconscious). Not only that, but, as mentioned before, the domain is rigged for him and, after the first jackpot, he can keep chaining that shit like it's nothing. If he get's caught without his immortality, wel... he can make impromptu binding vows to save his life. He sacrificed his arm like it was nothing, and still kept going. Oh, and I almost forgot: DUDE MOVED HIS DOMAIN'S BARRIER WHILE INSIDE THE DOMAIN, THAT'S INSANE. Fourth: there's a lot we don't know about Hakari's potential. His offensive game was kind of repetitive here, but I think it's because he was NOT going for the kill. Even against an opponent like Kashimo, who is the strongest among the CG players we've seen so far, he was comfortable enough to go for a non-lethal win, because he needed his 100 points and because, despite all that happened, he knew he wasn't going to die. Not only that, but we have yet to see how tf he's getting his arm back. He doesn't know RCT, after all, and I doubt Shoko has entered the colony, so he's got something else going in order to get back to full form. In short, I think you glossed over some of what Hakari so strong, and that really makes a difference IMO. Not that Hakari is necessarily stronger than Yuta, but I thought it would be nice to point those out. Anyway, nice video!

Yuta with his CE and ability to copy any CT, and Hakari being able to do back to back DE's and refill his CE to 100. It's crazy

I kinda feel like Hakari's DE being this hyperconvoluted system is part of Hakari's gameplan so he can basically "distract" his opponent with all the cursory pachinko infodump garbage and let Hakari run all the cheat codes in the background without them being assed enough to notice.

It's almost like a workaround or exploit on the system rule that makes your cursed technique stronger if you tell your opponent what it does. Not everybody can absorb all of that new info at once, but that probably doesn't matter for the purpose of the power boost. And it's his own technique, so he has all the time in the world to memorize every facet, plus he based it on something he really enjoys which makes that even easier.

the way it seems to be laid out is that yuta has more base cursed energy has far more utility in the use of it, he's power is consistent. but overall hakari can over take yuta but only under the prerequisite of his curse technique, meaning his power isn't as consistent but is capable of more. depending on the situation they could both be considered second to gojo. it's all a matter of situation and your personal perspective, whether you put more stock in the possibility of more power, or always having slightly less available to you with no prerequisites.

Even if yuta was being serious with that statement of hakari being stronger than him it's instantly invalidated by the fact that yuta has become more powerful since making that statement. Also it's stated that ishigori has a higher cursed energy output than kashimo with yuta's only being slightly below so it's unlikely that hakari will even be able to deal substantial damage to Yuta

I think people are really underestimating Kashimo, Yuta would've died after the first sure fire shot from him because he cant blitz or anything. The base chance of jackpot is 1/239, HOWEVER he can increase the chance with hype by 80% which makes it about 1/15 + after he gets 1 jackpot he gets a ridiculous amount of modifiers that completely rig the chances and make him get 3-4 (not including the first) on a UNLUCKY day, considering he has never gotten a rainbow against kashimo. His domain is not AS luck based as you yuta riders

@@blooved4389 to add to you The preview things ( the doors,balls and pseudo spins) 3 of them count as one and the x3 or gold (ball,door) adds 20% ..add that 20% to the 80% of the scenario in Charles fight thats a 100% of jackpot In kashimo’s fight add 20% of the x3 to the 75% of the probability change( because he got odds before) thats a 95% without including the cutscene of the train And because his sure-hit is the information transfer, in a tug of war between him and any domain doesn’t affect the spins because its not the sure-hit to be canceled In verdict if its 1v1 hakari wins against every character we know( except:gojo,sukuna and maybe maki/toji) but if its not a 1v1 yuta smaks

I don’t think he’s implied to be stronger than them at all. Nothing is really said about how Kashimo would stack against any of them, and the only thing that is said in the manga that even remotely compares kashimo to them is Kenjaku implying that ishigoori would be a strong opponent for kashimo, which makes one believe they are somewhat relative to each other

@@timpa701 There is no implication, because there's nothing that says that all colonies are the same in power level. It's safe to assume that the Sendai colony was by far the most dangerous colony to be in so far, considering they had 5 special-grade tier sorcerers including Yuta himself.

I like how whenever I see a youtuber try to explain hakari's cursed technique is like wayyy to complex and long to explain. It's also seems like wayy to many components to have relying on luck, but it works really well for hakari. really enjoy listening people explain it becuase Hakari's cursed technique is well written and chaotic

Easiest way to describe it. Ishigoori’s CT is like a step up transformer. He doesn’t have more CE than Yuta but his CT makes him output more.

Can someone explain it to me? When Hakari's half was blown up by Kashimo, Hakari's DE went onto Jitan/Time Reduction which doesn't guarantee a sure-get Jackpot. However Hakari instantly got the Jackpot there and even Kashimo was so surprised why. Was that a hint that Hakari's DE is actually a broken/rigged Pachinko machine in which he WILL always get the Jackpot no matter what? Or was it me just missing something?

If the side characters are way weaker then the main how could they possibly be entered in the story to actually do anything combat wise? My thing is I don't think Gege would have put that back and forth between Yuta and Maki for no reason. Hakari was pretty much setup to be compared to Yuta.

a super lucky hakari basically has infinite curse energy and is practically imortal which puts him in a similar situation to gojo. while id still bet on yuta to find a way hakari can theoretically just out last his curse energy giving him the win which is why i think yuta made that statement.

This video checks out for the most part. Yuta, according to Itadori, could kill Sukuna should he come out again. Sukuna is in a different tier than Hakari. In addition, it’s possible Yuta’s domain is better than Hakari’s and Yuta would win in such a battle. we have no way to know if that’s the case but if it is it’s GG Hakari instantly loses. Finally Hakari needs to be able to survive long enough to get his luck going, whereas Yuta could just open the fight with a kamehameha from Rika or telling Hakari to die and instantly kill him (not sure that later one would work but you get my point).

Ryu doesnt have more cursed energy than Yuta, just a higher curse energy output.

They are Relative, that’s the narrative of the story, Gojo put both him and Yuta on a pedestal saying they can rival him, Yuta said when Hakari is worked up he’s stronger. Hakari beat the strongest CG player so far aswell. We can stop the downplay. They are on the same level. That’s what the characters are saying and that’s what the narrative of the story is as well.

they are relative but it's pretty much definitively stated by the narator that Yuta is No.2 to Gojo, Hakari can be no.3 and the gap can be small, but Yuta should be stronger.

Yuta’s ability to use copied techniques isn’t limited to Rika’s time limit as far as I’m aware. He used Uro’s technique to redirect the other guy’s blast after he destroyed Rika. Someone correct me if I’m wrong though.

Granted that hakari gets his jackpot as the manga has literally stated he is FLOODED with an INFINITE POOL OF CURSED ENERGY DURING THE FOUR MINUTES THE IDOL PURE LOVE SONG IS PLAYING which also gives the abilty to use reverse cursed technique subconsiously

I think we can only put hikari at yuta's level when we see cursed techniques

He got this busted Domain Spam and the cast rate is unbelievablly fast less than 0.02 seconds, you can't even react because his domain 's rules will instantly put on your brain in an instant. I kinda say that is an Insane ability, and he can keep up with Kashimo without using cursed techniques, just physical fight and A busted Domain

I think hakari's using some kind of binding vow. In exchange for not using his CT during a fight, he gets an immense amount of luck...this really makes sense when you take into account the fact that he didn't use any form of CT even when put in a near death situation and the unnatural amount of luck he has

His Domain Expansion is rigged though. He never once before had to roll 239 times to hit a jackpot and the highest amount of times he had to roll was 30. Domain Expansion is suppose to give a person an advantage and Hakari having a rigged Domain Expansion would certainly be an advantage.

Amazing video. Let me put my two-cents in. I believe Yuta would defeat Hakari 8times out of 10. Hakari definitely is a powerhouse in terms of RAW strength. I think when Yuta compliments Hakari and says he's stronger, he means this in a more non-sorcery way probably. I imagine it similar to when he talks about Yuji. Yuji has better physical strength than Yuta but because of Yuta's cursed energy he's obviously stronger than Yuji (hopefully that makes sense) Getting into why I believe Yuta would dominate Hakari is mainly because of Yuta's experience and on top of that, Hakari's performance against Kashimo. Hakari as stated did lose an arm and took severe damage and got lucky quite a bit as Kashimo didn't have a technique to completely obliterate Hakari instantly. By obliterate I mean obliterate. Kashimo eventually caught on and almost made a comeback against someone with endless cursed energy and can just repair himself without thinking because of his domain. Yuta can perform reverse cursed technique without the use of a domain. This is HUGE because say Hakari did get an advantage on Yuta, Yuta would catch on to what Hakari's domain is, how it works and what his game-plan is. Similar to what he did in his 1v2 fight. Yuta even if injured can heal himself until the timer runs out. Yuta also isn't a slouch in the speed department, so if anyone wants to argue the concept of blitzing Hakari before he could throw his gang signs (jokes), its definitely possible. If Kashimo basically almost succeeded in his attempt, Yuta who I would consider stronger especially if you go by the writers statement on Yuta being second to Gojo, would definitely succeed against Hakari. Yuta also has the ability to copy curse technique so even if you believe Hakari's curse technique is just super OP, whats stopping Yuta from simply copying it? IT's not like Hakari is Gojo with six eyes and that cant be copied. I believe in a blood match, Yuta wins hands down 8 of 10 times. In a sparing friendly match, Hakari would win most of the fights as Yuta wouldn't be going all out and playing the humble role.

hmm, i'd say 6/10 rather than 8/10. for hakari to be mentioned in the same sentence as yuta in relation to Gojo suggests they're somewhat close in overall ability. even gege called hakari "jujutsu high's secret weapon". (i forget the source but look up his comments on hakari or any official comment on hakari's profile). An 8/10 difference wouldnt put him in the same bracket as yuta imo.

@@Chid098 I can respect a 6/10. I was just shooting a random probability. But I definitely just see Yuta being better than Hakari. We have to take in consideration meanings. Like when he an author says anything in regards to a character being mentioned in a same sentence, it doesn't mean they're relative to each other. Like for example. If we were to talk about the strongest characters in JJK. Top 3 right off the rip arguably by default is going to "Gojo, Sukuna, and Yuta" in that exact order. Then you can switch around whoever you want for 4th place. So take a statement like Gojo and Yuta are two of the strongest characters. Yutas statement about Gojo and how he has more cursed energy than Gojo or whatever but Gojo is definitely SUPERIOR. I see, Yuta only second to GOJO and Hakari second only to Yuta. Yuta is like Hakari's Gojo. But Yuta obviously doesn't have the hacks of the six eyes. Which is why I went as high as a 8/10. Yuta just has way more going for him.

I think Hakari is put on a similar level as Yuta because his power gives him the potential to be even stronger than Yuta, argubably reaching a level of power near Gojo (minus Gojo's broken cursed techniques of course) that's why I think Gojo has him on a similar bracket.

I do believe base fight Yuta is stronger than Hakari, but like Yuta said “if he gets worked up he’s stronger” meaning if he keeps using his domain back to back he’s just getting stronger and having an infinite supply of curses energy, meaning regen, immortality, and attacks, and higher probabilities to getting the jackpot over and over, meaning Hakari is someone you can’t beat in the long run. But remember, he fought the strongest bare knuckle while dancing and smiling more than Sukuna’s gremlin ass

I do think it’s important to note that both hakari and kashimo were holding back. I believe Hakari if wanted could’ve just hit in a more lethal manner

Hakari definitely was trying. He said "I didn't feel like I won that" afterward because Kashimo didn't use his cursed technique. If he was holding back a lot, he wouldn't have said that. Yuta was trying, because if he wasn't he wouldn't have used Rika at all, he also didn't want to kill them. He was at much lower risk of dying than Hakari was in his fight and he made it clear that if he wanted to kill Uro and Ishigori, he would've. He went into that colony confident that he could kill all of them by himself if he had to.

@@shepardice3775 I disagree, he felt like he shouldn’t have won due to the secret technique but he still wasn’t going for the kill while kashimo was, he also didn’t use his CT, both were holding back in some manner it just seems like kashimo narratively has more weight in that regard. For Yuta i never really said he didn’t try, he did but there were levels to it. I will say towards the middle/end he was serious but after that he kinda just decently scaled over the rest of the deadlock.
