Sound selection is really just about not overthinking it, I find what makes it hard is you always tryna find the PERFECT sound. Fire vid bro
another hack for natural melodies: in fl 21 image line added a "humanize" script, its under the tools in the piano roll you can randomize a whole bunch of stuff including note start and end makes melodies sound a lot more natural

It was your workflow that was blowing my mind. I dont even mess with Trap songs basically because I find it to hard to create, but you were dropping in rolling hi hats in an eight of a second, and the way you shared your reverbs from 1 track to another with just drag and drop was incredible. I know these things are simple to you, but I have been working with the all plugs version for years and never picked up on how to do this

Love the idea of sound selection a lot of us needed I know more definitely I need it I struggle with that sometime but bro this the only time I think you dropped the ball you didn't go over nothing about sound selection on why you pick certain sounds and what sounds go right with each other
