There are 168 hours in a week, and for most people, that means around 45 hours sleeping, 45 hours working and 78 hours of free time. So, what can you be doing in that free time to become the best version of yourself, enjoy life more, and feel less stressed?
Average Brits and Americans are spending 5-6 hours a day on non-productive screen time (social media, TV and gaming). And there’s nothing inherently wrong with “non-productive” screen time - but that adds up to something like 20 years of our lives watching, swiping and scrolling… which does feel like a bit too much of our short lives to me 🤯
So, in this video, I share 13 things you can do in your free time to feel more organised, get wealthier, reduce stress, learn more and feel better. And most of these things are completely free 🙌

About Me
I'm a lawyer, part-time KZreadr, son, brother, startup founder, fiancé, black coffee drinker and plant dad. I graduated from Cambridge University (where I studied French and Spanish), topped my law school class and now work for a corporate law firm in London as a trainee solicitor (which takes up a lot of my time)!
Around that, I'm a big fan of discovering new ways of thinking, of balancing work with life, and of performing to the very best of my ability. Ohh, and being happy. And I try to share all that on this KZread channel 😀
Fun fact: I believe we massively overplay the role of “natural talent” 😮 AND… I also believe that TOGETHER, WE ARE ALL CAPABLE OF POSITIVITY, PRODUCTIVITY AND SUCCESS.

You can go for a walk, or work out, or clean your house instead of scrolling if you want to empty your head. I realised that I waste time by earning money to creators by scrolling through KZread when I can be working towards a better body, a better job offer, a new degree, a higher salary (yeah, it comes with strings, your rich corporate employer will buy another yacht), or even a better relationship with your family and friends.

Liam- great video. I love the idea of making a list of things you can do when you have time. True story- when I met my husband I fell super hard for him. I knew I was spending too much time thinking about him when I wasn’t with him so I literally made a list of things to do when I was thinking about him too much! It all worked out pretty well as we have been married almost 13 years. That started me on the habit of making list of things to do when…. Whatever. Love the ideas you shared. Some of them were the same as ideas on my list, and a couple were new to me. I will add them to my list!

I have been unemployed for a very long time, moved to a new country a year and a half ago and do not know ANYONE here. Although my accounts are active, I don't use social media but for years, YT has been my biggest distraction. Also, I have been studying some IT stuff for some time to try to have a better career and I do basically everything around the house but to sum up, I spend/waste most of my time in front of a screen, and life is going by...

You're living a life I admire to live man :) might be a little sadist of me to write this, but make a video on the other side of things also, recently I came across a post from a motivational speaker telling that he was in depression for the past last year due to COVID and stuff and has eaten a lot of junk and things like that, and that makes me feel more connected to him, seeing okay sometime things go the other way for him too yk, loved your content, keepgoing

I really appreciated this video, Liam. I'm currently in between jobs and while my job search takes up a lot of time (naturally) and I do have a small side hustle, I have at times struggled to figure out what else I should do to fill my time. I am someone who actually likes to clean so I've been taking on more of the housework during this interlude, yet I also have tried to take some of this unexpected down time to rest and relax like you say at the end.

I watch a bit because those involved and in diguise are the " pillars of society" It takes a bit of time to figure out who is who, but I figure it out eventually. There is a great deal of "dirty laundry" air in reality TV. The one I watch. All I can say is Sheeeezus Christ!
