Here from 9252life. 2020 JL hood with blistered paint on the edge of hood. Dealer ordered new hood and had it painted. Does not match the rest of vehicle. Still negotiating for blending!

Oh man that’s terrible! Be sure to look really close around all your door hinges and even the back gate hinges

Just fixed one like this last week . Ended up using epoxy under the hinges . Only had 4,000 miles on it .

Yeah it’s craZy! We use epoxy also and a strange Prep pen that Chrysler recommends. I think putting a piece of that clear Mylar plastic tape between the hinge and body would help also.

Mine did this. Covered under factory warranty. Takes a couple months to get in.

You're supposed to spend $60k buying all kinds of factory and aftermarket replacement parts to get the "Jeep" you want😅🤔🤷‍♂️, tube doors and grumpy grills are perfect for snow😂

So think I’m just gonna buy an aftermarket hood and half doors and wrap in a rust looking vinyl lol

Yup, classic galvanic corrosion from steel and aluminum contact (dissimilar metals). What preschool level engineers at FCA gave this assembly the green light? Never will buy another FCA product again, straight trash.

Not exactly as the JK’s are steel body but they still have the same issues as far as rust and corrosion in the same areas as the factory didn’t put an ecoat under the hinges on them either. You’ll notice that they’ll rust around the hinges more or so in the northern climates due to salt on the roads in the winter months
