As I'm rewatching this, I see a lot of parallels with how my son plays. He's not a pro player but is just naturally very gifted at the game. And I've noticed he doesn't do some crazy edits or builds crazy mechanical megatowers but he's very hard to read as he's constantly moving and pressuring from different angles. So I never know which wall he's going to take.

I was planning on it, but any real tips I'd give sort of get outweighed by nitro. Don't get me wrong, I'll definitely make one (a super detailed one too) but it doesn't seem like the right time

+1 for this. I'm still learning to boxfight. My old brain has to understand things step by step before I can put in practice. My son is naturally gifted, he doesn't care about tips or tricks, just jumps in and W-keys everyone. I'm just trying to become a decent team mate so I can carry my weight.

@@reidtheninja this is the first season when we literally stopped playing with my son due to all the OP items like cars, nitros, fists that negate builds. Just doesn't feel like FN BR at all. Epic did a smart move by introducing Reload mode though for players like me who want to learn more 'traditional' FN BR mechanics instead of winning by blasting everyone from the cannon on the car (seems like there are tons of other games for that type of low-skilled fun).

I’d say this is a good idea to show but in higher ranked lobby’s they play very diffrent from this cash cup qualifiers which dosent have skill based match making including headshots better game sense than us and a coach helps him stay above the loop

This is true, good comment. Although I'm assuming most people care about qualifying/making earnings more than ranking up. Either way I got videos about doing better in ranked too, as well as videos like these more focused on tournaments!

Hey Reid just some friendly advice, I might be wrong but, Pollo looks like when he was fighting the guy with medallion at the edge of zone, I think he fought him bc he had medallion and the hyper Smg, again o might be wrong but I think it was just bc he saw medallion against zone and pushed them to pin them against zone

Oh yeah he definitely wanted that medallion. By the end he had all of em. I think both reasons are true, that he wanted the loot and wanted his back to be covered

I have a question that makes me lose a lot of games, whenever I get a health advantage or w key I get shaky nervous and play dumb do you have any tips on how to fix that?

There's of course no perfect solution, but I'm assuming you get too afraid of the enemy healing back up, so you recklessly run in. My advice is it's better to let them heal and reset the fight, than to plummet into a disadvantage

Yeah You should Practice By Trying to watch Something In game Whilst editing And Occasionally Looking at the edit grid not the other way like go in creative and watch the Timer for a while and then You Will Eventually be used to not Staring At the Edits

I'm a pretty low level gamer dad so I'm not qualified to give much advice on FN BR. But based on feedback I received during coaching sessions with Coach Zykoma, I'd say you need to get your mechanics to the level where you don't have to look at the edits, only then you will be able to focus on enemy. Just my few cents. I hope it helps.

What do you mean? In this video pollo doesn't use a lot of his own mats until end game. He mostly sprays walls and hops around their boxes

You can either try to bleed shots through with an smg, or try to exploit into their box. (when you phase in by placing a ramp behind your head and jumping in)
