The most important part about all of this is to keep in mind that these things will not work sometimes. Yes, sometimes everything goes wrong, yes sometimes all the strats actually work against you. however, the important part is that on average it will work more often than not. sometimes when you side your whole teams dies, they get baron and just end after and there is no gold in the world to compensate that in one push. but thats not most of the time.

As a toplaner, Im here to add a little more input about why bot looses and what not to do. 1)The game is not finished. Even if you die as a first blood, the game is not over, dont start arguing about jungle ganking you or tresh not hooking etc. Arguing and toxicity only benefits enemy 2)Dont pick odd champs, especially if you are in low elo. Fundementals are important, just play something that is conventional so team can olay around you (I am talking to you 1/14/3 Olaf adc) 3)If we tell you to not die or play safe, its not for toxicity but we believe your damage will be relevant to the game. The whole team needs your damage so we want you to poke em from sidelines, not engage first in teamfight and die. If we tell you to play safe, just farm. As you can see from these 3 points, the reason why I lost my games isnt skill issue but mentality issue. I luv you adc's, work together not against, thanks

@@mkayy736 Thats a good point but generally works in "unconventional pics to cheese", way more effective as top and mid. For example in low elos not many people know how to play against ranged top, so even if you pick ashe top you can win. Issue with this is, picking a champ like this has major cons for a role. It increases the dmg potential of the team expodentially compared to a bruiser (especially with the new adc item changes) but also your team migh struggle with teamfights due to lack of engage or the enemy acctually understands how to play against you and they stomp you. This aceraio goes for bot like this kinda similar but with a catch. Picking a melee or bruiser like champ in bot might sound good but its all strategy and team comp reliant, the moment that draven or caitlin got their ie, its not game over but you just crippled yourself in a way. You need a dmg house in the team, eighter has build to kill tanks or just shred em from distance, or its a guerilla warefare where you try to jump on enemy adc in jungle as quickly as you can

This only works if you are very low elo and you are smurfing. To be able to side lane as an adc requires map/enemy position awareness that a lot of lower elo players don't have so you don't get collapsed on. It causes the adc to be alone and very susceptible to get jumped on by enemy assassins or lane vs champions they can't step up to for cs, not be the first ones to join skirmishes mid / other side objective considering adc doesn't have tp, and loses ally mid xp by being with support.

This isn't a high elo guide they said that. In high elo, you do a 13 min swap with mid... In low elo, this isn't a great move. And I agree, in all low elos (plat and below) you can't play the games thinking you have a team to rely on, it doesn't work. There will be games where the enemy plays really well and they see you trying to split as an ADC and just fuck you up then your team, but in general you are pulling resources from other lanes to come kill you and this is a good thing. Even if you die and get nothing but pushed your wave up to their T2 tower, you would have dragged multiple enemies there, then they all clear the wave and then they start pining where to go next / go back meaning your death gave them no advantage. In low elo, usually they will all want that "free kill" from you because all they think about is KDA. And yes, at some point you need a brain, some games you can tell when it isn't working and so you need to adapt, but generally speaking this will be the best option.

Not enough emphasis on how important map awareness is when you decide to use a strategy like this. You need to be aware of who can challenge you and where they could be coming from, or else you can just get collapsed on and killed for free while your team does absolutely nothing with it cause they had no opportunities on the map. Knowing where everyone is and what their options are is what lets you decide when and how to split, especially as a less powerful splitpusher on adc.

I am not quite sure about implementing split pushing as an adc to all your games. Yes, sometimes it works but this is like 1 out of 5 games. As an adc your are the main damage source of your team in team fights and abandoning your team while such fights occur is not a great idea.

  • @ofanichan

Also there's a lot of assuming that you can just get out of the lane or win fights with little biggie. A silver level ADC might not be able to get away from that Veigar defending if he comes from the jungle

I knoe these videos are supposed to exist to help low elo players (not that im thaaat high, i peaked d1 im not trying to flex) but you talk about half of the stuff people need to learn. For me its more important to learn how to face certain match ups. Like what to do when you are vs a poke lane, what to do when you are vs a scaling lane, what to do when you are vs a killing threat lane. Macro for me is the next step. First you need to teach them how to match up THEN what to do after they actually manage to go through the laning phase

My biggest tip for ADC players: Walk away from enemies. That it literally your greatest advantage. If someone is running at you, walk away. Don't stop to attack them. Don't try to outplay them. Just give up that space, and walk back to your teammates. Start attacking them when they're in range of your teammates. Your job is not to 100-0 every enemy you come across, it's to tax a chunk of health from any enemy who wants to do anything near your teammates. You can't win fair fights because your role is to make every fight unfair, so don't fight fair. Walk away.

as an adc (and a player in general) who dies A LOT ever since i started playing back in s2, i will take this as my mantra from now on thank you for this, i think this will greatly reduce my deaths and in general be a much more effective player. i usually go for the one shots 1v1s and 1v5s for no reason even if i may be really strong and mechanically good monkey brain do monkey business

That is why you seem like a bad adc. Scared adcs are the worst. Good adcs understand death better than anyone else, so they know what can kill them and how. This type of knowledge allows good adcs to see when they can fight and when they can not. Bad advice, be better.

if you play like this you will never be the deciding factor in the outcome of your games. You have to play at the edge of failure in order to win. You are ahead? good. Make the winning play. You are behind? Draw attention, farm up, get gold and then make the play. to win the game , in any game, is to make game winning plays that are, on average, successful 51% of the times. That's all you gotta do. But if you walk away then you remove yourself from the game that is ladder climbing. You are literally giving control to 4 random people. That's a bad idea.

dude if u solo sidelaning as an adc u risking dying, and not risking only if you are far ahead. And if ur team loses a fight, enemies get waves, your jungle, towers and objectives. And now you got one tower and three waves, and loses two towers and a dragon. It is a possible strategy, but it super high risk and you rarely can pull it off.
