Why you shouldn't take a day trip to Andorra from Barcelona
Is Andorra a good day trip from Barcelona? I don't think so, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't go. You'll just need a little bit more than a day. In this video I give you some ideas about what you can do when you visit Andorra.

Next time I am in Europe, I want to go to Andorra. I loved my time in Barcelona Spain, and Toulouse France. They are my favorite places in the world.

I did the 3 countries in 1 day tour when I was in Barcelona in January. The stops we made were really cool, but it was definitely too much time driving. I was a solo traveler and it was a good way to meet up with other people. I would definitely like to go back to Andorra and explore a bit more during the warmer part of the year.

Thanks for sharing. I’d be interested in checking out the three countries in one day trip to see what it is actually like

I am thinking of doing the 3 country tour in Jan 2024 as well. But I am reading that it's too hectic and probably not worthwhile because the town/village in France will be mostly closed as well. That said how was the scenery and weather in January? Thanks
Good video 👍🏼Fyi: Less than 8% is urban. The max it can get to is 3% and right now we are around 2 i would say.
Great video - thanks! I’m not a fan of the one country day trips…especially when you would spend 6 hours on a bus. So I’ve never done it when I’ve been in Barcelona. The three countries in 1 day sounds awful to me.

Thanks Christian. The channel focuses on Barcelona so maybe Toulouse from Barcelona one day!
Andorra is a beautiful place. unfortunately, I can only get there by ALSA bus. And there is not enough time to wander in the forest. Thanks for the video.

Renting a car is another option!
Thank you
Awesome video, thanks.we will be there in 2025.
Hey, so where would you recommend staying when planning on staying for a couple days in Andorra? Still somewhere in the city center and then drive around from there with the car? Also how is the Skiing season up there, are there good tracks? Great video!

Thanks! The center of Andorra La Vella has all sorts of hotel offerings and getting around by car from there is very easy. Some of the best slopes around! ⛷️

Stayed there last weekend. In the capital was very warm - up to +19°, in ski resort Pal-Arinsal a bit less and yes you can ski there usually from December till April
I'm coming in April. I'm flying into Barcelona, renting a car and driving up to spend a few days in Provence and a couple days in the Midi before driving back to Barcelona. I was researching visiting Andorra on the drive back to Barcelona when I came across this video. Would you recommend it if you are heading back and it's on the way???

Amazing video. I never heard of Andorra until this year when I started planning my trip to Europe. I'm going from Madrid to Barcelona then to Andorra and then to France. I am looking at taking a train from Barcelona to Andorra, and stay maybe like 2 full days. Do you have any hotel recommendations for Andorra? Car rental places?
@PatrickGuideBarcelona
