As a chicken owner, they do come at you sometimes lol one of my old roosters came at me and I booted him, he looked like he wanted to try again but ran off and then we never had any issues after that and he was very friendly. It’s about dominance with them most of the time, but put them in their place and they can be incredibly friendly birds
