I also want to point out that even with health insurance, there is still a thing called deductible which you mentioned briefly, that still rips off so many people, especially those who aren't very well off. People who aren't well off tend to select the lowest health insurance coverage, either buying it themselves or provided by their jobs. With lowest health insurance coverage comes very high deductible which can still put in very difficult financial situations. Health care is a nightmare in the US. It is extremely capitalized and made to put poor people in poor situation and rip off those who are quite well off. Best to always pray you don't have to visit hospital.

Every country has its own unique problems. But America now is most ridiculous place to live. The first point is painfully true. Healthcare in most developed countries and even some developing countries are free. The second problem is no that of a big deal. Everyone who goes abroad have to face it one way or another. If I have to pick a country I want to live, I choose Germany.

If you want to go back and work/live in MM after you get your GC, there is a limitation how long you can live outside of US each year. Otherwise, you will lose your GC.

if you really think about moving to USA, think over and over. I had a chance to move to USA 30 years ago but i also had a chance to move to Australia and New Zealand. now I am residing in Australia. I am not sure if you want to try your future there in USA be better or not . My opinion is after the 2020 election in USA the condition of life and future is so desperate for immigrant. so take your time and wish you the best.

As software developers I think there are so many opportunities in the U.S. It's great that you have a master degree; however, the degree you have may not be accredited in the U.S so you might have to go back to school. The job market is really competitive currently so maybe wait a few years. You are only 29 so you have a lot of time!
