Not every organization needs doctors or engineers but literally every single company or even industry needs managers who are business graduates! You can go in your fav industry with business degree either it's tech, fashion, medical, sports or anything even media industry!

@hecto Yes obviously... managerial vacancies are almost always open because every organization needs managers. Find job vacancy at your desired company, contact them either online or on spot. And before doing job, at least do 2 internships during your degree or after your degree because companies want experienced managers who has at least internship experience.

Business: (Marketing, Sales, Enterprise) is more of Practical than theoretical. If two persons go compete to become a consultant to a business, mostly they’ll be extremely happy to see a person that got tons of experience & skills than a college degree with no real experience and they’ll most likely to choose the person with experiences & skills over the one with the degree.

People are allowed to work and go to school so why not make it work and do both, that way by the time you’re finished with your degree you have experience and the degree and they’ll have no choice but to pick you bc you have the whole package!

@@nycto16 Brother you’ve been mislead the top 10 or 100 billionaires on earth they’re not all MBA’s most of them even do not have a business degree but they all have a strong background in Engineering, Computer Science & Technology. Jeff Bezos graduated with a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, Elon Musk graduated with a Bachelor degree in Physics & Economics. They all use their skills as a Entrepreneur by creating billion dollar companies. Always make sure to make your own research and do not believe everything you see on internet “oh all millionaires & billionaires are dropouts,” yes I agree majority of them are but not all them! For the dropouts is because they figure out their Passion & Purpose early on their life and college is just a waste of time.

@@james_naing Wait read my comment again... here we are talking about "JOBS" not starting own company.. in jobs perspective only Medical and Business jobs are highest paying! Not engineering.. even in most parts of the world including whole ASIA engineers are jobless! Engineering is the worst thing to do if you are an Asian. Elon Musk has Econ degree... So, Economics is not an engineering major lol it's under business. And if you are talking about billionaires who started their own thing so Warren Buffet is one of them isn't he? He was business administration graduate with major in Marketing and also MS in Economics. And there are many billionaires who are business/econ graduates. Business management jobs are the most high paying around the world, I think you know about finance. Careers in banking, consulting, private equity, hedge fund even world's best engineer (employee) can't beat a finance/accounting graduate in terms of salary and demand. Marketing managers, Healthcare managers etc all other managerial/corporate people earns way more than an engineer of any kind.

@@nycto16 Computer Science and Engineering are never gonna stop growing. There’re also a lot of branches of engineering like civil engineering, have really low demand but computer engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering & robotic engineering..etc will keep growing & the paid is also high. not sure for Asia and yea you’re right because also one of my friend told me that most of the parents forced their kids to choose between Lawyer, Doctor or Engineering. I think because of that Engineering have become saturated in Asia especially India. In the future lots jobs are likely to get replace by robots, AI, bio hacked humans as lots of Innovations coming. The best part is you don’t really need a business degree to get jobs in business fields (Sales, Marketing, Accounting,etc..)

I am coming to the end of my business management degree with accounting and I must say, I think your knowledge on the amount of work that is required seems somewhat limited. I say this because I have studied this degree for the last six years and the work I would not say was Breas able. I have worked flat out from 2016 to where I will graduate in 2023, because I had to defer. I have even worked over Christmas and holidays, having two to three months break within these six years. However, I am looking at a first in this subject.

You could also do a course on entrepreneurship. Might be helpful. Business degrees give you a holistic learning of the market. Entreprenuership course a lot of time include starting a business and working on it. SO you wont have to worry about theory is fine, what about practical knowledge. Do internships in different fields to explore your choices. I would recommend working in a start up as it instils various life skills, language and ofc the experience.
