First off you have to be invited / approved by UnitedMasters platform. Once you are sent an invite to make a profile then you can release music with them, and second i would suggest building a fan base regardless of any circumstance, if no one has had a chance to here your music to provide you some kind of feedback on how your music sounds then you should definitely start putting your music in more of listener ears. Grow your listener ship and fan base every chance you get, even when meeting people casually. Label yourself right then and there! But if you have no call to action, (Website, Spotify profile, music leaks on social media) something for people to further discover you and find your work, then expect little results. I hope this helped!

Yes they do have opportunities that you can submit your music to. With $60 bucks a year you really have no reason to complain. You or someone you hire should be the one to market your music. You can make your money back and build a fanbase with proper marketing if your music is good. 20,000 streams would bring in around $60

Do United masters pay Napster and Deezer royalties cuz on mine I can’t see the streams stats. I just see the stats of Apple spotufy and youtube

Yes, they do pay out so long as you are generating income from streaming on their store. Plus, United Masters has a default threshold of $50 for minimum payout

You would need to request log in information from your distribution

The only fault with united masters is that we cannot upload high quality song i.e 48khz and 32 bit.

Ima artist and haven’t released any music. I’m tryna figure out which distributor I should use. And it all comes down to 1. Can I release as much music as I want? 2. Am I keeping all my royalties? 3. How fast I can drop! Am I on Apple Music, Spotify, KZread & SoundCloud & do I own my music!? Should I use UM!?

United Masters would be a great option if you want to monetize SoundCloud, Spotify, Apple Music , and KZread,. You should pull the trigger and start releasing your music once you've found a scheduled plan that works for you, if you pay for "Select artist", United Masters will release your music quickly if you choose to release within short notice , never the same day however, but let's say atleast 3-4days . If you dont pay for "Select Artist" united masters will take a cut of 10%

Certainly yes it does! I have transferred my music from multiple distributors questioning the same thing once upon a time. You will keep your verification and all of your stats so long as you transfer using your same ISRC codes

does your music say its live within your distributor? and how much time did you lead up from upload to release date? you may need to email and contact your distributors support team and address this issue with them with all the information from your song like the release date, name, and ISRC code

I got no complaints, I think when I signed up for "select" I was still opted into the trail , but the select artist feature is where its at! Keep 100% of your streaming royalties instead of them taking 10% cut makes a difference when passing a certain trmhreshhold of revenue, pull i just finally download the app for Android and its pretty dope with plenty anylitics that the desktop site doesn't show you

United Masters does not a have a feature for allowing splits withing their system. as for cover songs I'm not sure at this moment.

Something weird happened. It’s my own song. It got released yesterday and Spotify is fine but on Apple Music it said it’s not available in my region and it’s my own song

Email their their support team and request a take down with all the information they will need to confirm which releases you are inquiring about. Like UPC / ISRC CODES Artisti name and releaae name and Releaase date 📅

I have paid for the 14 day trial for the select artist and I released an album during those 14 days. If I cancel the trial will my music be removed

Im afraid so, one day all of my music was completely removed and they said because my payment didnt renew, i was shocled, paid it right away and my account has been broken ever since, i cant release or collect so i did a take down across the board of all my music and moved to another distributor

I can't say exactly, but I remember I was looking every day to see if it was up, and by the time my music was released on Spotify and Apple Music it was also available on Instagram and TikTok, but i also remember times where it took an extra 2 weeks

This is a common question, I've heard rumors that you cannot, and I haven't had any reason to remove my music from United Masters, but i would always recommend that you email their support team yourself. I have had countless email discussions with many music companies regarding my own work and this type of communication can lead to actual results, I urge you. don't hesitate to communicate with the very people that your are dealing with. This has helped me every single time and yes I have removed music through emailing before, just from another distribution and not United Masters. I switch from United masters cause of the whole 90/10 split and taking my money and hold it until we get over $50 dollars and they claim your record on SoundExchange as 100 percent their and I wasn’t fuck with that so I say use United master with the attention of signing cause if you just use them to use them your shit outta luck . They won’t let you delete your profile or end the agreement & they have right refuse , so if any label or indie label come to you and wanna sign you United master can say no and put you in situations where may have to sign with them or the label will have buy you out like how they did Lil teeca & NLE Choppa who blow up off um

You can always release music with another distributor. Also, Distrokid uses bully tactics on indie artists. I do not like our relationship due to history with their bad business practices. Unfortunately their presence is a bit different than others and they do not offer a removal of your content. However emailing their support team you may receive some luck there
