In simple terms If you dont have 3+ workex - do 2 year masters if you have 3+ workex - 1 year is fine

Does this apply to UK and Ireland as well because the Uni's only provide 1 year masters and probably 2 Yr stay back.

So the tuition is the same regardless if you finish the degree in one year or two years. You only have to pay living expenses for tge next year, right?

Where can I explore 1 Year Courses and what are the Work permit options for them?

Can you talk about MIS courses which are offered for an year instead of two? Also ,can you extend your course from an year to two?

Hi Yudi, iv gotten an admit from an Ivy league (Columbia) for a 1 year masters program. Its definitely expensive but also prestigious. Should i do it?

Hey @YudiJ, Brother I need your suggestion. I just hope you get this comment somehow. I got an admit for UCI MCS (15-16 Month) and other are traditional master ASU(MSSE), UTD(MSCS). Now i wanted to pursue to MCS at UCI and which have one summer and then one more trimester. SO what you think i should pursue keeping in my the recession scene. Will the extra 5 months, i gonna get at traditional master will be helpful because i think its highly unlikely that market can improve in such short span if its bad in Dec'24. Please let me know your views. Need it

There is this 1 year Masters program at Stanford related to Translational medicine. There is a summer internship by the end of the course..When I spoke to the program director they have assured that they can help to find internships for international students in the sector. But I don't have much work experience. So is it worthy to consider this program?

Hey @Yudi J ! I have admits for MSBA from Colorado, Boulder & Ut Dallas and am very confused in choosing one. Boulder although is way more reputed , it is a 10 month program where as Ut dallas is of 2yrs. I come from a Bba (15yrs education) background with only 1yr work ex. Please help me out in making a choice among these two.

Can anyone say - My visa approved in fall on august 17th 2022, due to my mother operation i deferred to spring, and i got i20 of spring but in that sevis id was different compared to fall 2022 and where in my visa it has fall sevis id. Note: (going to same university but sevis id changed) I have mailed to university they said u can transfer ur old sevis to new sevis id. Questions: 1. Will be any problem in immigration ? 2. I need to do a research on these professional MS and how different they but in general this would apply to any masters program - but if you can extend one or two-semester - then it should be fine

Yudi bro, it'll be amazing if you can bring in an MSBA student/passout from the top 30 universities like UT Austin, Purdue, UC system etc. All these programs are only for 1 year (usually 11 months) , and they have mentioned a 90+ placement rate. So we would like to know if they got a job because of their experience beforehand or only because they're entry level jobs?

Yes I agree, even I am going to pursue my master's in business analytics in USA and almost all universities are offering a 1year or less duration master's only. The placement statistics are also above 85% for all. I am also curious to know whether that's because of their previous experience or even fresher's are able to grab such opportunities. I have admits for Msba from Colorado,Boulder & UT Dallas. Boulder is way better reputed but is a 10month masters program & UTDallas is a 2yr one.
