Iam on skilled visa here..came in January 2023. I have a 16 year old kid studying in India. He is in class 11 in India in Arts/Humanities stream. When can i get him here to qualify for free or home fee undergrad education . Iam in Scotland. Please advice. Iam not finding any info here. Most people are not answering me and iam finding it hard to get this info.

Hi, i am actually planning to move around Jan intake as a student, but I am unmarried. I have watched a few videos extremely negative about the life in UK about ppl looting homes, n in the trains, stabbing n all that. About ppl not getting jobs, that ur experience will not be considered in the UK. Are any of these valid. Should i look for other options i felt UK should be fine, but these videos are disturbing.

crimes are everywhere in this world but still people are travelling for better opportunity, so it's totally depends on people's thinking that they should move or not, many people are coming to UK every year and living happily with family, incidents happens some times but if you compare the crime rate from other countries you will understand where UK stands. UK is a very nice country to settle with family. If you get a good opportunity and can manage to live in new country you can come any time.

If are in a good position in India and your monthly household income is 1.5L to 2.5L in India, I would recommend not to come here unless you get an exceptional job offer in the UK. If you are in dilemma, you can visit UK with your family or spouse on a tourist visa first and then can decide.
