In this video today we go over why the shotgun needs to be in the first slot of your fortnite inventory.
If you play on controller, the order of your inventory is critical. Knowing where to put your guns in your inventory can make all of the difference.
Getting a competitive advantage in fortnite in 2021 is huge. Simply by putting your shotgun in the first slot can help your chance of winning box fights tremendously.

how long does it take to get used to I had AR sho SMG then heals, every time I take a wall I’m used to just pressing it twice to get my shotgun now that I’m trying shotgun first im always drinking minis or something stupid

Even after building, my controller always switches back to the gun I was using which is super annoying, any way to have it pull out the shotgun?

My order left to right is, AR/ Shotgun/ Sub / etc

Haha I used to do that for the longest time, and no regrets after switching to shotgun in first slot. Takes some time to get used to though.

@@boldmonke5732 If you're on controller it will make you switch back to your shotgun after building and pulling your pickaxe out. it is super handy when in buildfights and you edit a wall and don't have time to hit rb to switch to shotgun.

It only doesn’t switch to shotgun when I’m not building but it does when I’m building is that same for you
