People don't hate woman's football because they're women. They don't even "hate" woman's football, it's just quite simply not as interesting to watch as men's football. Men run faster, kick faster, jump higher and as a result, it's more interesting. Why do you think the men's 100m final is more popular than the woman's 100m final? It's not even a gender thing either, compare the viewing figures for U21 football vs senior men's. People watch the men's because it's more interesting.

I'm from the UK and watch the NFL every week, and that's just not true. How can you say the NFL is more exciting than football when on average a game lasts 3 hours and only 11 minutes of those 3 hours are actually spent playing the game (a fact, look it up)? You know the camera spends more time looking at the coaches on the sidelines than it does the action on the field, right? Again, I'm not knocking the NFL because I do actually enjoy it and have supported the Cowboys for 20 years, but it's not more exciting than football aha. Not unless you really just enjoy watching advertisements...

Every single shot on goal in that video would've been saved by a League 2 keeper...

they're not considered shit in the men game by the way. Rob Green is average, Joe Hart is above average and David Seaman is nearly a legend (or is a legend). But look how many blunders they've had throughout their career, much worse than those three goals highlighted by "the Pells". Neuer got caught from the other half a couple of times, Buffon had multiple near post blunders, Casillas...various. And these are the best. Modern football is rubbish. Give me Zoff and Shilton over those overpaid prima-donnas.

yes, it says that women teams play different than mens.. we don't play the same game, its slow paced at times and more thought out. All of my coaches have been men and they love coaching womens teams more because they don't just go ham on everything, we stick to a very sophisticated plan.

Ignoring sexual dimorphism (in which one sex of a species is different in size/shape to the other sex), height doesn't have too much to do with it. Yes, it helps, but you can still be a good keeper if you're small.

He plays in the mexican top division at the age of 44. If he was shit, he wouldn't have got a contract in the top division and would've had to settle for a lower tier club. An even more striking example is Jorge Campos at just 168cm (5'6") and he got 130 appearances for the Mexican national team. Impressive stuff imo.

Who's wrong? Womens football is on the up. Still horrific to watch at times but slowly improving & getter better & more popular. Everyone knows this. There's still a lot of barriers to break for the sport but if you're looking to pull people in then highlight the positives of the sport to attract people.

I witnessed more skill in my Set 3 PE lessons at school than in any women's match I've ever seen. The good thing is that it's so shite that it's actually enjoyable, like a car crash that you can't look away from.

What will be interesting is to see how the women’s game can mesh with the men’s in terms of fans. Because unlike in the US most countries where football is no 1, the fans support their team and none other, there’s no “I support this team in basketball and this team in Hockey etc”, it’s definitely a one team mindset. So it’ll be interesting if people will eventually show as much devotion to their women’s team as well as their men’s

I will never waste 2 hours of my life to watch a full game as it is not to a proffesional standard at all. The standard is lower than mens sunday league yet gets so much press and media coverage.

the best players of their time. they would not compete in terms of speed in the modern game, passing and tactics were much different, in the 40s/50s teams used to play 2-2-6, goalkeepers didn't use gloves, the general level (english first division) of play was really primitive, long balls and etc.. i am not talking about the greats, because this particular video is about the female EPL, which doesn't have the absolute best players. and yes, female football isn't good in comparison with men's football by any objective measure.

We can compare apples to oranges, bananas to aeroplanes, paperclips to humans and we can compare anything to everything, comparing female and male in sports is something we've always done, if we don't compare men and women then why do women have their own teams? Without comparing men and women we would never have men and women's teams, without comparisons we would just have mixed teams, because we wouldn't know that one gender is stronger, faster and better than the other gender in terms of physical strengths.

All 4 goals came from errors the keepers made. That was a terrible match for goalkeepers. Should men not be allowed play the sport?

Dirtier and Danier Would you expect someone who's 5'6" to be able to reach the cross bar diving across the face of the goal? You're expecting too much from them. It's unfair to compare it to the men's game because it's a completely different style of play. You wouldn't compare the men's 100m sprint to the women's because the men are going to have the faster times. Does that mean we should ban women from the Olympics? Just because girls can't compete to the same level as men doesn't meant that they should be stopped from doing what they loved.

Women will never be nearly as good as men at sport. That's not sexism, it's a biological fact.

I enjoy watching both men and the women's football games. Sure they're on a different level to the men's league but it's still entertaining to watch. Completely different league from each other but they're out there playing and enjoying it so the least we can do is support them.

My Opinion 7-0 actually and also the world champions female team lost 5-2 to Fc dallas under 15 boys team, and my junior team full of 16 yr olds we beat a pro team 5-3, women's football sucks if local lads can beat a pro womens team than women's football has a long way to go

I enjoy watching and competing in sport. I've never considered comparing men to women in sport for obvious reasons. The current ladies WC is the first female football I've seen and I'm enjoying it. It will continue to grow for decades. The men's game has been growing for 130 years

For what it's worth. I enjoyed watching our international women play. It's not a matter of how they compare to the men. It's about supporting them

If women's football was good, we wouldn't be debating if it was good. So fucking simple, even a woman could understand it. Or not.

I suppose it ultimately depends on what you consider the sport itself to be. For me, it's all about entertainment, and there's no reason to suggest that just because women's football is undeniably lower-quality than men's football, that it's somehow 'worse'. I mean, I go and watch my brother play Sunday League football every other week and it's fucking brilliant; way more entertaining than the overpaid prima donnas of the PL! On the same note, I've recently gotten into women's football and it's great for the same reason: it's entertaining and passionate and exciting. It reminds you of why you fell in love with football in the first place.

I watched the last women’s World Cup. I won’t lie, I wasn’t expecting much. But it was actually great. There was much less diving and rolling about on the floor after a tackle than there is in the men’s game too.

That's not diving, I consider diving when they go down unprovoked. If they let themselves fall after a foul I don't consider it a dive.

Women love just saying shit but very rarely back it up with actions! Why didn't they comment on some of their own highlights and sound more positive? Always the complaining victims, men do heaps for women's football but I havnt heard a thankyou or any sign of appreciation!

Sure Women's football is improving, but this video suggests anyone who says anything bad about Women's football is a misogynist. Watching Women's football is frustrating, it's played at a really slow pace and some of the goalkeeping and defending is laughable. I think it was a Women's game between Germany and Nigeria I saw and the Nigerian defense and keeper were not only awful, but didn't appear to care, no effort to make challenges and Germany just walked straight through them. Obviously Nigeria are massive underdogs but you expect an inferior team to put up a fight, and they straight up didn't give a sh*t. All the evidence shows that Women's football is crap, yet I'm sexist for saying so.

I’m sticking to men’s football thanks. I’d rather be watching my team stood up in an intense away game than being sat down at an empty small ground , watching a game which would be meaningless to me. Some people like it but it’s not for me I’m afraid.

LMFAO I'm playing as a goalkeeper in a U15 team and many keepers (including me) are able to save shots like these very often. I think I'm right about women's football.
