I raise you: the pumpkin toadlet. They're bright orange, and so small their ears aren't big enough to function properly, so they can't hear their own mating calls and when they jump they get dizzy. They just launch themselves and hope for the best, then get up wherever they fall. They're amazing

Fun fact: there is a toad called the pumpkin toadlet that is literally the size of a fingernail. Due to its size its ears are super underdeveloped to the point that they can’t even hear the frequency of their own mating calls. Their balance is also really bad so when they jump they do like 5 flips in the air and land on their backs 😭 they fail at literally everything it’s a miracle they’re still alive Also their bones glow. For some reason.

I live in Australia and as a little kid I would always look forward to the rare times when I would go up to see my Uncle and Auntie who live up in Darwin. They built a house and lived out in the bush and had snakes, spiders and green tree frogs all around them 24/7. So one time we went up there and my Auntie took us to the outside dunny and showed us a little green tree frog that was living in the toilet and we all named Noggy. I remember constantly checking if Noggy was still there every time we went there and he always was. A little thing from my childhood that I will never forget.

I like how when you hold them they scream, as if in ancient days they used to be a vast society with an army ready to come to the rescue.
If you’re okay with the extra maintenance of an aquarium, African dwarf frogs are great! They’re absolutely itty bitty and adorable, they don’t need to eat creepy crawly insects (African dwarf frog food pellets that will sink to the bottom are fine), and you can house them with any freshwater creature that won’t eat them. The only issue is finding a place to get one, because if you buy one from PetSmart or a chain like that, it’ll probably die in a few months (they’re supposed to live for 5 years), so there’s probably some shady stuff going on with PetSmart that’s giving them diseases. Anyways, they’re very cute
1:17 That "Trust me, I'm Tugg" line after dropping a Certified Tugg Fact™ was beautiful and should be the slogan for Certified Tugg Facts™
Frogs are great. When I was 18 I remember finding one in a hedge at my student dorm, no idea how he got so far from a wetland in one piece as it was at least a mile or two away. He chilled on my hand and stayed with me for a walk to a night out, then hopped off onto a tree. Great frog, 10/10.
Tree Frogs have such a satisfying and oddly pleasant touch with their hands. I love holding them and they are so chill with it thankfully. Such cool little guys. Toads are the living embodiment of chill. They simply do not care at all. I ran up to one to demonstrate this to my brother and started chasing at it and yelling while flinging my arms about and he just turned around and stared into my eyes with no emotion or urgency as if to say “Do I look like a give one silly human?”. I just love them. They are all over my yard at night and it makes me so happy to go and pick them up and hold their dry, bumpy and squishy, cold little fat round bodies.

Lindsay Nikole just dropped a frog video! This is collab that needs to happen.
Knowing Tugg's content, I fully expected this to be about how frogs are evil and malevolent forces that threaten the balance of the universe and have some horrifying capacity to completely destroy the space-time continuum considering what the title is and how I've never had a negative thought about frogs.
Tuggs vids are getting more and more specific and I love it
My favourite frog has got to be the hairy frog. They, as the name suggests, have hair all over their body. They also are known as the wolverine frog because of their ability to break the bones in their hind legs and push it through their skin as a form of makeshift claws. They’re the only frog trying to be a cat.
I love frogs so much, also check out pumpkin toadlets if you want top tier cute fails of frogs. They are so small that their semi-circular canal doesn't work properly so when they do jump they just helplessly flail through the air.
I took a photo of a huge Cuban Tree Frog one night in the yard. Its eyes had that same dazzling purple and yellow glow the one at 0:10 has. I think it’s the same species. They are really neat. Found your channel a few weeks ago. Great content! Thanks
When i was a kid, i lived in a developing neighborhood so there were empty lots and partially completed sidewalks and when it would rain there would be frogs hopping on our driveway (and throwing themselves at the garage door) or in the mud puddles at the end of our sidewalk. I would catch them and put them in my outside little tykes playhouse that was on the porch. Unfortunately, they always tried to escape and i occassionally accidentally killed one or two when i would go into the house or if i shifted the house :( eventually i felt bad and stopped catching them, but i would still get them off the driveway so they didn't get run over

A tiny 2-in. N. American tree frog named Charlie was my first pet. He had a _massive_ tank & was *SUPER* smart. Every week I had to tape a new crazy colorful psychedelic poster onto one of the glass walls of his tank, because apparently they can become depressed w/o vivid color stimulatio. For _hours,_ he would jump from branch to branch, examining every new detail of the poster, and every time is come home from school, hed jump into to the glass and greet me. He was the sweetest, smartest, tiniest best boy ever! ❤❤
Funny thing about the poison dart frog, because they get their poison from the native ants they eat in the wild, those raised in captivity on feeder insects aren't poisonous at all!

As someone with 2 pet frogs I approve this message
I'm convinced! Lol I already own frogs! I love them so much. Though if you want a pet frog the setup can be expensive and you do want an appropriate sized tank for your frog. I have a nice 70 gal for five froggies! And also want to make sure you have access to an exotic vet who takes frogs! I know some owners who have to drive hours to go see one, and you definitely don't want that! Do you your research and take your time and money making an amazing setup for your pet froggy! Frogs also eat only live prey so if you're squeamish about bugs a frog is not for you! But that's okay if a pet frog isn't for you, there are so many cute froggies and frog owners online who love to share and talk about their frogs! Fun fact, my frogs have potato names: Tater, Tot, Latka, Spud, and Gnocchi!
