I wish Carrie would do a theater tour. Problem is no theater is big enough to hold the size of crowds Carrie brings in. That theater in Las Vegas is specific design for "A" headliners like Carrie.

I don't consider "What I Never Knew I Always Wanted" a love song at all. That was Carrie honoring the two men in her life at that time.

Totally agree. I'm really glad she helped bring "Faster" to life, she shouldn't have to write a love song if she doesn't want to of course, but I'm so glad she brought that to this album! And of course "Heartbeat" and "What I Never Knew I Always Wanted" were/are great examples of her capability.

Carrie always does it in a polite way toward Hillary Lindsey. Hillary can't come close to Carrie's vocals. And Hillary knows that. Because every time Hillary has to sing in front of Carrie, Hillary would rather have Carrie sing it. When Hillary writes or cowrites a song for Carrie and goes no. 1. Hillary knows she gets to sing in front of Carrie.

I am more excited for the album and hope its better than the the 1st single, and feel that Ghost story is luke warm at best and don't think it will be a huge hit for her. Its predictable and too familiar. She needs to move on from revenge songs and start delving into deep, emotional songs that grab the heart. With each new album, she ismoving away from country sound

I kind of agree. I hope the album is better than this single because this song is just not that great & it’s too weak to be a lead single off of an album. It’s predictable and honestly sounds like every song she released off of Cru Pretty. The revenge songs are great but there’s only so many of those songs she can do before people figure out that it’s basically the same kind of song she’s done before.I just wish she would do songs that are deep,emotional and just grab you from the first listen. I love her to pieces but this song is like you said predictable and it’s too familiar of a sound that she did on her last full length original album.She’s amazing but this song is a dud and it just hasn’t grabbed me no matter how many times I listen to it.I just wish she didn’t have to feel like she’s chasing sonic trends just to stand out when her voice and talent should be enough to do that on it’s own merit. She has too much talent to be doing mediocre songs that don’t highlight her talent.I just wish her songs sounded as country before she switched labels because this is just my opinion,she became less country the minute she switched labels.When she had the right mix of country and pop on her older albums,it was so seamless you couldn’t tell the difference.Those are the albums I miss from her not these forgettable and mediocre singles she keeps releasing.

She is my favorite singer of all time and I am a huge fan but I agree. Ghost story doesn’t do it for me. Kinda sounds like love wins and a bunch of other songs. I loved the cry pretty album but she always says she’s a country girl.. cry pretty wasn’t country and from the sound of it.. this album isn’t either. Not that I mind but I a worried she’s taking her music to a place where I don’t wanna visit. Wondering if that’s her choice or her labels…

I got the impression that she wants to be a pop or even a rock star. From her songs to her doing aerials imitating the likes of P!nk and trying hard to “rock out” with Axl Rose for example, I bet she’s wanting to make videos with Freemasonic symbolism in the future.

She is a Guns & Roses fan but she isn't able to sing all of their songs. She can't pull off off Welcome To The Jungle!!

Frankly, I think it is very strange that she has as many revenge songs as she does and is proud of that. She seems like a very angry, spiteful person. So she was cheated on fifteen years ago. Many people have been cheated on at least once but they do not need a lifetime of revenge music played out for the world to see.
