Worse tracking, worse situation on block, only guarantees a heat engager when it lands on counter hit and confirming ch df2 into Mourning Crow can be quite difficult to get in your muscle memory. Wouldn't recommend using this move much unless you have a strong timing read with it while in heat

Also you can parry all the options from uf1 mc at least with dvj, so then it becomes a mindgame of mc nothing or mc button.

I like to use CD 1+2 on oki and the wall if catches people trying to step and press buttons all the time

Devil jine new rising 3 animation reminds me of negans f3, tho it being rising makes it harder to use in combos

dont you like b1+2? idk is it new never really seen it in 7. but a i20 -1 on block chunky mid with decent range that chips and grants a laser for 45dmg on ch seems very strong to me and it tracks a lil bit. i spam the hell out of it, was surprised how often it counterhits (may be i20 is an unusual frame range for dj idk)

@TehShooterx unless you're on hitbox it isn't an extra button 😅 I know with Panda I could use u+2 yo spiral opponents, but uf+2 realigns better mid combo.

I'd recommend anyone trying to get into the game with Devil Jin to start off with special style on, that way you can first try and get used to moving around and get a feel for the game. Devil Jin is a bit too much for a beginner, try to take it slow!

I don’t think dvj is weak. Yet I feel his combos are very boring. They look cool, but not very satisfying
