We travelled from Tokyo and caught a train, it was fairly fast but i dont think it was a bullet train. We then stopped by a small town as our JR Pass didn't cover the last leg of the journey to get to Fujikawaguchiko.

Hey! We went at the very start of November (nov1-3) and even though it was cloudy for us, the very next day was clear for our friends 🤣

how were the autumn leaves back then in Nov 1-2? I'm seeing they haven't turned vibrant red by then in the video, but I could be wrong? We're going Oct 30-31 this year and hopefully it's the same as your trip!

Early November!

I am Japanese. If you don't go early in the morning, the mountains all over Japan will be covered in clouds, so it is recommended to go early. If the weather is good, it will be even more cloudy. This is because the high temperature causes water to evaporate and form clouds. If it is summer, Mt.Fuji is rarely hidden even if the time is late.

@@Heleenvk The first week of June would still be good. Usually in Japan, the second week of June is called "TUYUDOKI" and the rainy season begins. 　May you have good luck with the weather.
