how about placing an emergency fund at high yield checking account?
Great point: “an emergency fund is not an investment” so keep them separate.
I do a hybrid. 3 months of basic expenses in my checking and the other 3 months in VASIX.

Same, I have 10k in savings and 10k invested in various solid stocks.
Emergency funds is very important. I agree. 👍
