    @@abelscaliber7969 You are incorrect! If you read in the manual it clearly shows that if the inputs on the amplifier you are connecting it to can only handle 3volts then it needs to be on the 2.5 voltage setting. Otherwise it will cause an input overload and the amp will go into protection, which happened to me seversl times when I had it set to 5 volts. Hasn't happened once since I put it at 2.5 volts

    This resemble as the new audiocontrol epicenter micro. This devices just came out on the market not long ago. Audiocontrol epicenter micro has more to mess with than the nvx. Both work the same as line in converter, and acts like a booster. Now audiocontrol added the epicenter in their converters.

    The biggest advantage of a bass processor is having the ability to "rebass" your music at will. When tuned just right they can make regular music play like "rebassed" music that a lot of people listen to nowadays. I've never tried the NVX model, but I've tried a few, and the Audiocontrol Epicenter is the best. One thing to note is that you will either need to set your gains with the level of processing you desire, or turn down the bass level with a remote before processing, or it could sound muddy, or cause clipping.

  • @fd1596

    @fd1596

    @bAc0nBoY755 Yes, and no, but not the samething as boosting with an equalizer. A Bass processor can add lower frequency output that isn't there in the original or you can tune it higher which can increase output in the frequencies that "are" in the original track, but at a higher level than recorded.

    The paint job or finish on this device looks absolutely horrible! Looks like the paint was applied and just before it flashed, or dried, someone ran a brush through it and it dried showing the brush strokes! Certainly hope it's not indicative of its over all quality! I noticed the part of the manual I saw showed an isolated ground. I would ground it to the body somewhere rather that to the battery. Years ago, like '99 or so, i ran a cadence electronic crossover with 7 volt line driver and back then running two kicker amps, increasing the voltage made an incredible difference! You dont hear much regarding line drivers anymore except in certain devices that include them as one of many other features. Today's modern equipment, new head units apparently have a higher voltage output so I hear, also some newer amps like Tarramps dont like higher line level voltage but the next time i build a system, and mind you I will need to look into details to ensure its beneficial but I'm looking into the powerus 8k which pushes 12 k
