Very true. Unfortunately people want a quick fix. That is why people do not learn colour theory or anatomy anymore.

I just checked out your profile, you are doing a very good job, keep practicing, maybe add a bit more contrast to shading, go from light to very dark, play with values, this will give you so much depth to your work :))
