I think bc he’s playing for the panthers and the new worst owner in the NFL, he’ll be a disappointment along w every other offensive player, and when the Panthers finally decide not to pick up his 5th year option, he’ll likely go to another less dysfunctional franchise with a QB that can actually throw for a first down once in a while, and at that point we’ll see if he can live up to the first round hype. But he will be miserable like everyone else in the Panthers organization for the entire duration of his contract. I’ll be sure to check back in 4 years and see how well this ages. I’m a panthers fan, so I’m saying what I believe, not what I want to be true. I’m just being honest about the state of the Panthers franchise. It’s a shit show and there’s no signs it will ever improve as long as we have a giant baby owning the team.

Straight up, and not just because im a panthers fan either, this guy is one of my new favorite players. His story is inspiring, his accent is hilarious, and his attitude and mannerisms are all so positive and humble above all else. Humbleness speaks volumes to me. I think this young man has a blessed future ahead of him, its the only thing that can happen to a man like that

Xavier is an amazing young man! You could not keep him off the field last season. He's tough as nails and gives his all. He was pretty banged up few times being our only reliable receiver and Dowell Loggains had to drag him off the field complaining to rest him. Him and Spencer were our 2 shining lights on offense, Oline terrible, running game nonexistent. And our defense was bottom of the SEC too... Not that the whole team didn't fight hard but I've never seen so many injuries in one season. We were playing the back ups of our back ups but Xavier and Spencer worked their ass off every single game no matter how tired or beat up they were

As a Clemson fan I watch every South Carolina game and this dude jumped off my screen every single game he does have the height the strength the athleticism he has good straight line speed he attacks the ball every time he goes up the only thing is he's not a polished route Runner. Now with the Carolina Panthers need to do is utilize this guy as a wide receiver deep thread and make him allow him to use his physicality against Corners his size or smaller you can use jet sweeps a little bit but let him be a receiver not a Gadget guy

I love the pick. Xavier Leggette was being projected mid 2nd round but I felt he was my 4th best WR prospect just behind Adunze and Nabers. However I felt he was in my tier 1 of WR. He actually has the highest upside of any WR. Remember, we didn't get any combine data with MHJ. We did with this guy. Who knows MHJ might run a 4.4 or 4.5. We don't really know that data.

Give him more credit first four years. His kickoff return to the end zone was the start of one of the biggest upsets of college football history and without it the momentum and hope would not be in the South Carolina football team that game.

He looks good but hasn't shown enough tape, only starting one season with a Gamecocks team that wasn't that good. I would say he probably was drafted a little higher than he should have gone and Carolina didn't need to trade that one spot into the end of the first round to get him.
