😭 😢 😭 I used to cry every night listening to this. I was going through a hard time for almost three years! I’m crying today too, but differently, it’s happy tears! All my problems came to an end and I’m enjoying this moment while remembering my dark nights!! To those who’re going through hard times, there’s an end for everything!! I’ve been there I felt the darkest despair, and today I am looking back at these dark times, and I am able to say “yes, I’ve been there and I made it here” with pride!!!! I love you ❤️

I came to the realization that since GOD IS LOVE, I needed to pray to God to help me to stop being my own worst enemy bcuz it’s virtually impossible to genuinely love others if we’re filled with self loathing, and as God began to heal my brokenness, I began to see others compassionately, and sympathetically... It is last 20 more years...I die every day...She left me cause I am not rich...In 2011 she met for 3 months then finally left again...I can't tolerate...I die everyday for her, i miss her deadly...It is my problem I know... Not he's...She is fine with husband and kids...I pray for her goodness in life but, i inhale her in my every breadth ... I made her free bird...It is better suffer one rather unhappy two...Oh God! I'll try not to cry. I was 23, I met the only woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Dire Straits was her favorite band. I only heard the song a few times. It didn't last long, she left our hometown for a career in California. I couldn't listen to Dire Straits for a long time. Then I heard Phil and Don sing it with Chet and Mark. Never did find anyone to make me feel that way again, though I did get one pregnant so I got to hum this to a little one for a while. Can't hear it and not think of her. I hope she's had a great life, she dodged a bullet with this one.

It’s American English, which is irritating to those of us in the U.K. who are particular about spelling and grammar! Turn your grey skies into blue would make more sense as a blue sky means a clear sunny day, but obviously that would not rhyme with the song. Also to my way of thinking, it could mean blue as in sad and depressed.
