9/10 win rate: Usually involves risking more than the expected profit.

This makes sense. Since I started to let my winners run ( and still working on it), I have started to become a profitable trader. It’s one of the ways to reach sustainable profitability . It still blows my mind, but 3/4 times I could still could have hold on to my trade for maximum profits. Holding on to your winners is definitely hard and I consistently have to fight the urge of closing it and locking in profits.

I know guys who make a killing at 35% win rate for intraday swings. 3x-5x swings - minimal loss. Because size is more manageable- if you’re not at least 90% on scalping one sizable loss and you’re done - especially if you have not stop

So many lack the “patience” aspect. They’ll get the trade right but can’t keep it long but they’ll keep a loser all the way through thinking it’ll come back. Best cut it with a trailer ITM or defined stop loss moving it up ITM as it goes to secure at minimum 1R/2./2.5R

True but if you're winning 9 out of every 10 trades there is a very, very, very good chance that your winnings will outperform your 1 loss. Now obviously if you're straight up gambling your entire account then you probably wont be able to make up for it. Even a 1:1 ratio would do phenomenal with a 90% win rate.

Exposure to risk is exposure to risk and risk goes both ways Having 100k on the line to make 1k when your risking 10k-20k because your using leverage or margin is like putting your hand in. A gullotine for a piece of gold and grabbing it. Eventually you get caught a finger then an arm. Or worse.
